I’m already “trapped” anyway, so my hunting days are over... just want to cruise while not getting yelled at...

Phoenix, 101 4 days a week. Also have been in San Diego and LA during rush hour. Even did NYC during a vacation. Still prefer the MT. Honestly, I don't understand the "gridlock" thing people use as a reason to not like MT.

I live in vancouver, bc. Has crazy traffic, i still prefer MT over auto.

1st gear in taco is very low, letting you creep along without playing the clutch game.

I prefer that, then holding the brake pedal for an hour.

    Different folks , different strokes.

from someone, who decided to buy his first time auto vehicle (Tacoma) after having multiple performance vehicles (all manual), I can tell you it gets old to sit in traffic with a manual.

This man knows what he is talking about! And I would rather crawl in traffic with a Manual then an Auto, even is Vancouver's horrible traffic.

IMO, traffic sucks. Being in traffic in an AT still... sucks. No, it isn't fun in a MT, but not because of the MT, because of the traffic. That being said, given the choice, I'll do it in my truck and not my wife's car.

And yes, I usually sit in first and creep along.

    off road mine a lot
first time I did smoked the shit out of my clutch
but once you get it its 10x better than an automatic being able to dump the clutch when you are stuck is the coolist/scariest thing you will ever do!

I'm a noob to offroading, but have driven multiple MT vehicles.

4low is awesome in this truck, especially on declines. And ATRAC works great. I wouldn't be able to think of any cons.. Possibly rocking the vehicle in mud..? Haven't been to deep without assistance getting pulled out yet

It still is on the models that offer it. The AT is $1,310 option.

    LMNOP?

I never understand that distinction either. Truck versus sporty car, but NBD. Having the choice is what it is all about and am damn glad that we still have some choice. It is unfortunate that we can't get an ACLB MT OR or Pro. Oh well.

    ZZZZ. :rofl::rofl:

Bitching is what we do. The first human words were likely Loana bitching to Atouk about some random bullshit.

Been doing it for over 20 years. I'm glad you like the auto better. To this day, I would rather do it in my MT than in my wife's auto.
