They are made by @radio4095 and we will be working together to bring them to you guys.
As soon as I get the first batch shipped to me I will open pre-orders for them with a special intro price.

    Got my DMM installed over the weekend. That was way easier than I expected, less than an hour. Next up is the wire in a USB charger inside the dash so I can hide all the cords. Parts pictured;
    - - 2x base mounts with 1/2" heat shrink to hide the chrome
    - Ram short arm
    - Tackform phone holder

When I install the charger, I'm going to have to put some blue loctite on the bases. When I pull the spring loaded phone holder apart, it begins to loosen my base.

I've always liked that tackform holder, I'm going to try to bring it to the wesite that would be a good option for the DMM.

You could flip the phone holder around so that it opens on the other side? Then it will tighten the base, instead of loosening it?

As @JKDer mentioned flipping the holder might hel but unless those springs on the holder are exceptionally strong you should not have a base that loosens up, the screws that hold the ball have a locking compound on the end threads, they should not come off that easily, try tightening the screws some more and if that doesnt work I will send you a couple new ones to see if that solves it.

Do it! That holder is perfect. Very secure and low profile.

Yeah, trying that today. Just feels backwards to how my hands want to insert the phone.

I could probably put a little more torque into the screws, but I was initially hesitant to go too caveman on them due to the dissimilar metals. I did see the yellow threadlocker on the screws, but it was fairly light. No need to send more screws, I can take of this super minor issue. But I really appreciate the offer.

I also placed my order today for the DMM and one ball. I already have a Ram phone mount for my motorcycle, so I'll try that for my phone mount. I would be interested in ideas/videos people have for a USB port that would be accessible for this mount without the cord hanging down in front of the dash. Thanks!

I ran 2x USB cables behind the dash to an outlet I wired in the footwell. I cut a notch in the DMM and can pull out a cable as needed. It's super clean and was pretty easy to do. I just did an add a fuse tonine of the 12 outlets in the footwell

Here are some really crappy pics

That looks good. I'll have to look into this. I'm quite unmechanical so connecting the outlet will take some research!

This is absolutely the best way to add charging cables to the DMM, I am working on a bracket that will accept those same style of power outlets that is going to sit on top of the DMM but in order to maintain the cleanest look connecting the cables behind the dash and running the,m through the DMM is the best way to do it.

That was actually the easiest part. Grab some add a fuses, the mini fuse style and run to one of the outlet fuses. The USB charger I got is similar to the one linked above. I'm no experienced pro but if you want to know any details of what I did let me know

Do you have anything that could mount a radar detector off that DMM?

I use this holder too. It works great for my needs.. Really wanted to find something low profile.

Are you familiar with something that looks/functions similarly but works for a larger device like an ipad or ipad mini? I've been looking around but have yet to stumble on something similar to the takform holder.

The holder I have is not really similar but it works great, I usually leave my iPad mini in there all the time so the holder is rarely visible... I haven't seen anything like the tackform but bigger....
