Apparently the dad went to court to try and stop his ex-wife from giving the 7 year old son "hormone treatment" at such a young age. But lost.

 

Good bar/pub/whatever in Steamboat? I'm heading that way this afternoon before the rest of the hockey folks on the team so I'll have an actual evening to myself...well, including the fam.

 

The Barley has a good selection of beer and whiskey. Skull Creek Greek next door has great food as well

Can anybody recommend a good wrongful termination lawyer? Went into work this morning and without any apparent reason I was called into the office and told by the facility manager that he just got a call from one of the owners that I was to be terminated immediately. I have never had a single verbal, written, official or unofficial reprimand since I started with this company.

 

Anyone have beta on solid spots to truck camp with a rooftop tent on the weekends near Copper Mountain? I am looking to ride every weekend and looking for solid spots to camp.

Sorry to say it man but Colorado is an at will state meaning an employer can terminate employment with anyone for no reason at all.

 

Unless he can prove it was age/sex/disability discrimination :idea:

The fact that you weren't given any reason probably leaves you with with little grounds for a case.

To add to it, if you can't find another job quick you can file for unemployment as you were fired and didn't leave voluntarily. The company can dispute it but with out having any write up's or warnings they will lose the battle, unless they have just been collecting documentation against you.

 

My official termination paper work doesn't even list a reason or offense.

 

They aren’t required to give you a reason unfortunately

 

That's the strange thing, I've received nothing but praise from all managers I worked for and then out of the blue I get fired from the owner? Whom I've never worked with nor met with while working there.
