    Hello everyone.

I’m considering a used leer XQ shell for my bed. Does anyone have pics of this specific shell on a DCLB? Wanted to see what it looks like before I even leave the house to take a look. Bonus of your tuck is Silver Streak Mica!!

    Thanks!

Scroll through. There are silver Tacomas shown with Leer XQ caps.

Technically it would be 50% you said bonus if it was silver.. ill take the hit for short bed I didn't read the description properly. I misread DCLB as DBLC - aka double cab.

I’ve seen plenty of short beds with the shell, but not many long beds. And hardly any silvers. Mostly darker colored ones. They look very different. That’s the purpose for the specific request. Not trying to be ungrateful. But when the first response is a link to a google search, you start to lose patience for people’s sense of humor or whatever you call it. I see it much too often in this forum.

Here's the way I see it. A shell is either something you need or something you don't. Cosmetics has to be secondary to function. As long as the shell is cab height and color matched, it's going to look good. If you need a shell to keep your stuff dry, somewhat secure, and a place to sleep, there really is no other option, unless you trade for a 4 runner. I doubt anybody buys a shell strictly for cosmetic reasons.

I see what you’re saying but disagree partly. I’m definitely looking for a shell for its function, but why can’t I take into account the cosmetics. I have options and am looking at all aspects of this XQ shell. I am already happy with its function, but now am wondering what it would look like on my truck. It I think it’s ugly, then I’ll look at a different model or brand altogether.

Thanks for all the pictures that people have submitted. I guess I just thought more owners would have had this exact combination that I was looking for. I just didn’t want to have to drive 100 miles and lift hundreds of pounds just to see what this thing looks like on my truck. Not trying to be difficult here.

This.. I have the 100xq and it looks the best imo as far as shells goes, but the functionality of the windows are lacking. Sometimes I wish I had "wind-doors."
