Good for you. I said REQUIRED though. I've never signed a bos or had my info written down in any of the purchases I've made privately. I'll show ID and ccw no prob but nobody needs to have all of my information written down. I guess they could memorize it but thats not very realistic.

I agree...never said that I wrote down any of my info or any of theirs. The BoS form I use doesn't have personal info on it. That's the way I do it, not saying anyone else has to do it my way...you do you.

It's a CYA thing, mostly...don't want some shithead offing his wife and having it circle back.

Yep, have had to deal with this in another state with similar laws. A friend purchased a shotgun from a criminal unknowingly. It was used in multiple armed robberies in the local area, and was eventually traced back to him. Lots and lots of hassle and legal hoops to jump through on the tail end.
