    You better be careful.

With the way this is turning out you are going to have a whole bunch of people bugging you to make these for them.
Unless that is what you want... :D

I know you know what you’re doing but thought I’d share anyways. The gussets that just run straight down the spindle tend to crack. Gotta tie the gusset into steering eyelet. The total chaos ones that retain the swaybar are a great design. Just food for thought.

I’m not happy with anything available so I’m making my own the tie the steering arm in

A jig for everything I’ve done now exists and making more is super easy and wouldn’t be that expensive

It’s all just for mock up, everything still needs to get pulled back apart

Interesting that you are running hydros with a stock length travel shock. You’ll be riding in the bump zone at basically ride height and most of the travel.

They are the extended travel! Lol

And the bumps will be be shortened to 1” and they are mounted further out than stock so they contact the lower arm when the suspension is closer to full bump... I’ve put a lot of thought into this :)

Still only a 5ish” shock. If you ran a 2” bump your still riding the bump 40% of the travel.

A 1” bump makes much more sense. You obviously know what you’re doing. Was just making an observation.

I totally agree with you and was making a joke about the shocks being extended travel.

Honestly the bumps don’t make a ton of sense for this setup but I had the lying around, it costs me nothing to mount them and most importantly I will pull more chicks with them. I might even end up shortening them to 3/4”. With how far outboard I have them right now there is almost no “walk” on the lower with them at 1” stroke so we will see.

Have you tried to shorten shorties? For shits and giggles I put 2.5" diameter 2.5" long bumps on my rear and shortened them about as far as I could go. It seemed to me there was a hard limit as to how far they can be shortened since you need space to get a pick in to remove the snap ring. I think I ended up with around 1.875" travel on mine, I *might* have been able to get it to 1.75 but it would be so close in don't know if a pick would fit in the gap......not to mention king doesn't recommend shortening shorty hydro bumps.

    Everything looks really good.

I am also looking at making some UCAs, do you know what dia tube you used for yours? And I thought you posted earlier which bushings you used but I can’t find it now. Tundra bushings?

Thank you. Are you asking about the tubing diameter for the are or the bushing sleeves?

The tubing for the UCA itself but if you know the sleeve size also that’s helpful. Reason I ask is I have 1.5 and 1.75 dies for my bender but I’m think most UCAs are smaller tube than 1.5.
