This kit is made by ADS themselves but neither MCM or ADS have it on their websites. If you email or call MCM he can order it for you.

That is the exact opposite answer of what ADS told me when I called about my 3rd gen. 3rd gens are 700# coils stock. These trucks have way heavier frontends than the 2nd gens ...like 300#. Coil weight and a difference of 50# is only going to support the weight of the truck over time better and prevent sag (which will happen). Valving of your good or crappy shocks makes the ride

Edit: realized he was 2nd gen. Big difference
Thank you for pointing it out

Takes like 1000-2000 miles to break in.

Sounds like 2nd gens are more on the 600 side then? Idk man I just don’t want to get 600s and have to use a ton of preload. Kinda stuck between the two

You will get mad saggy over time with 600’s on a 3rd gen. Been there done that

2nd gen I cannot speak for

He's 2nd Gen with only aluminum skid. no need at all for 700# but i suggested he calls ADS. I doubt if they recommend about 650#

I sent them an email. If I don’t hear back I’ll call. It’s been about 50/50 between 600-650,!$7/5 trying to avoid having to revalve down the road

You have to realize that different people have different ride quality desire. What one person thinks is reasonable, another may think is dog shit.

Regardless, unless you talk to a tuner or someone who deals with legitimate truck setups on a regular basis, this is all opinionated suggestion.

For my 2nd gen that weighs 5200 lbs, 2920 on the front axle they recommended 650# coils. Unless you have plans to go to a plate steel front with steel rope winch, full steel skids and sliders, I would stay at 600/650.

I'm sticking with 650s. Hidden winch bumper and winch with synthetic line.

    No Full Plate Bumper.

Skids will only be on when wheelin.

Yeah makes sense. Just figured I’d get some opinions before I pull the trigger. Regardless I’m sure they will run better than my OMEs lol

I'm switching my front coils to 700#. my 650#s have been sagging for a while. Don't have my weight numbers on the front axels yet but will get a reading soon.

    BAMF Sliders
    = Heavy as hell

just ordered ADS level 3. I have full steel skids and sliders and will probably get a cbi moab 2.0 aluminum front bumper. I got the 650 springs, sound right?

    Whole lotta stuff
Those will be fine with an aluminum front. Might just have to add a little preload, which is good for handling.
