I am going to have to take more pics. I lost my last phone in a dirt bike wheelie rage and so my pics. I have one pic I got an idea from on here somewhere. I took the center bracket it comes with and then bent and welded another piece to mount it through the passenger side body mount. I used extra hose and some joiners. I have a 12k winch and pelfrey along with cubes and bars. It may just depend on where your winch control module sits. That is what got In the way for mine.

Ill see if my buddy has a picture of his winch mounted. I do not recall him having to much else beside cut out the support that came out for the stock bumper in order to clear the control. ill look for a picture of mine I did the same but the SC is not in there yet but will have the same thing to consider.

It would be best to address the running condition AFTER the blower has been installed and tuned, as that will eliminate bad plugs, injectors, fuel pump, and will narrow down the issue to things like the MAF and stuck rich AFR sensors. Which may be what is happening to you.

I'd actually like to see your fuel trims to determine what the hell is going on.

Bad o2 sensors? Heavier load on the bed? Winter gas? My money is still on the tires. Make sure they are nice and filled.

He would have to be driving on legitimate flats for that sort of poor fuel economy.

Aside from the normal maintenance checks, one that isn't so easy to check, are the injectors. Recently came across an FB post by some Aussie gents. All else being good, when having a high fuel consumption problem, they decided to pull an electrically test the injectors. Tuner did. Basically they found them to be out of spec. Not from flow pattern, but impedance. Swapped in new injectors, and fuel mileage went back to normal.

    Keep that in mind

    its already PC'd black.

cool. I know it'll depend on the winch. Its a Smittybilt x20 10K wireless. the module on top is where I'll have issues if anything.

So I finally dropped off the Taco at the dyno/performance shop yesterday. The intercooler leak is getting taken care of, as well as the stripped bolt holes. A new cat-less Y pipe, and a good once over. I'll get that back and around that time the lightweight s/c crank pulley's should start getting knocked out so I can bolt one up to a NST crank pulley at the same time, and then finally get a HP tuner and tuned on the dyno. shooting to have it all knocked out and ready to rip end of the year.

yah something with injectors crossed my mind from a few posts I saw. Considering those are going to get swapped soon enough, part of me wants to limit driving the truck until the SC gets installed which will replace injectors, plugs etc and will get some good cleaning in the process and may eliminate the issue. Still would be good to know what it is.

I have a smitty x20 12K. I recall moving the solenoid over the motor vice on top of the spool which helped, but the 10K is a smidge shorter. Either way, I think you will have to relocate the solenoid over the motor or inside the engine bay if you don't want to move the pump.

Quote from the tuner, "Has a 71mm intake on the SC, it is a Raptor VLCBX30R. Running a touch under 8psi."

Apologies for wandering off-topic but, since I've PMd with a couple of you about a new addition to my garage, I figured I'd post the details...

My 2019 Z06 2LZ M7 Coupe arrived yesterday. Thanks to a good friend who helped with the hunt; Coughlin Chevrolet for a well-below MSRP deal on the car I wanted; and Pilot Transport for delivering it to my driveway. Unfortunately, the sunshine & 70s we enjoyed on Saturday gave way to 20s & snow flurries on Sunday, and descended to teens & about 6" of accumulation today. Thankfully, she's tucked-in under the Shelby for their long winter naps, while the Tacoma is sporting its winter wheels!
