I’m always impressed by the condition of a lot of the truck beds in these posts. Yours is pristine. Mine looks like a crime scene. I don’t have a bed mat because it is easier to slide things in and out and I tie down things anyway. One day I may have to consider resurfacing the bed. Anyone ever done that?

I purchased the TRD shift knob from a fellow TW member. Perhaps someone can point me to a vendor that makes the vinyl lettering for the TRD stamped metal clip?

Installed, easily, on my 2017, Access Cab which has a long bed. You back-out the existing bolts, line up the header with the bolt holes, then reinstall the bolts. Install it so the two, small drain holes are facing downward.

I started on my inside wiring cleanup today.
As I did under the hood I wasn’t really sure how many circuits and relays I’d need so I made my connections in a junction box, behind the rear seat. Today I removed it, labeled and made most of my connections. Tomorrow I’ll double check my work and power it back up.
The fuse box on its side is a 6 gang relay holder too. In this space are the connections to the rooftop harness, my ham radio, auxiliary battery and charger, and connections to power my console mounted siren controls, antenna motor and always on charge port (from the auxiliary battery).
After testing I’ll bundle it all and finish the mounts.

You don't need the bolts, you reuse.

This is from Bommarito Toyota in MO.

FYI ordered Thursday at noon, scheduled for delivery on Monday.....not bad at all.

I broke in my recently purchased 2017 TRD Pro. Loaded the bloodhound in the back and the basset hound in the passenger seat. Took off for the Montezuma Pass and then to Parker Canyon Lake. I drove about 22 miles of straight gravel or dirt road. 15 mph speed limit with switchbacks, one lane at times and plenty of rocks to make it nice and bumpy at times. Last May I could not decided between the Taco and a 4Runner when I was moving from Indiana to Arizona. Both served their purpose but I love this truck. It rides like a truck, yes not as comfortable as the 4Runner after 3 hours in the seat but that's fine with me. The 4Runner was traded in a few months ago because if felt too nice, like a family SUV, yet it is a great vehicle also. (note: I hope this many large photos are allowed)

This is how nice it looked before we left ... detailed out to the max when I bought it a couple of days ago.
