Well, yeah, I can! The room is 100% glass windows and aluminum insulated walls and roof. It's LOUD when it rains. Vikes/Skins, I have the sound on now real low, but not turning it up. Just gone over 9/10" and it's not moving much. Wind only added 1 mph to 24 peak. Happy guy with a drink right now!

 

Almost 1.4"! Loving it; Look how far I have to go!

You should be just getting started! almost to 1.7" and only halfway through the radar! This is SO good! Hope you get as much - just keep the kids inside, because they will grow!

 

Yup just started about 30 minutes ago, good rain coming down. Hopefully no thunder, kids make it a long night for mom and dad when there is thunder. At least it should all gone for the commute to school in the morning.

 

We are just getting some rumbles now, and no lightning since the onset. And yes, if we get two hours of this will be great, and GONE!

Man, this thread spins way too fast for me to keep up with these days. If I were to come in where I left off each time I'd be months and months behind. But thought I would check in! Enjoying the cooler weather and now some rain. Hunting season is almost upon us. However, with no season on Axis, my daughter went out Sat and knocked this fella down. Hell, she didn't even make it to the blind from the house and saw him and took the shot. By that night he was cut into steaks, ground meat and shrink wrapped in the freezer. She and her fiance decided to have a mount done, and the hide tanned for their house when they're married. We had been seeing him around, and since we're not high fenced, she figured she'd get it before someone else does on opening weekend. We used to have a lot of axis here, but some of the construction nearby seems to have ran them off a few years ago. Maybe they're coming back, because he's 1 of 3 we've seen.

As for me, just working and tinkering as usual. Slapped some JBA's uppers into the taco recently. Had to take 'em apart some and sand and repaint cause red isn't for me. Just another step towards getting how I want it. Saving up for a wedding now, so I don't ever seem to get a break lol. I finally got her done with college and pow, engaged. Anywho.. hope everyone's doing good. Here is a shot of that handsome fella she met in the woods.. ha ha.

Good times visiting your city this week! Had a bunch of great food, but work took too much time to see more than the little area around the hotel and such.

 

Don't feel bad, I live out here and never get to go. We take 3 deer every year, for our yearly stock up, and I have a wife and 2 daughters that like to hunt. So, odd man out. lol. I'm ok with it though. I just get to do all the dirty work. But, I've got ground meat and sausage and steaks all year long, so it's not a bad trade.

 

It's easy to just step in and not mess with it. Folks you know will always be glad to get you up to date on something you really want to know. Congrats on all the happenings!
