Things changed. Winds picked up and had a firestorm. Had to leave asap. Just got to my parents house.

Good morning, still on PTO until Monday. Leaves, sticks, laundry, unpacking and putting things away. More leaves and laundry today. But not in a hurry still coming down but now is the time, snow Monday.

Firearms, Taxes, and the Military are big ones for me also. But health care is also and I'm at the number one ranked hospital in the US and want to stay "in the system" there once I hit 65. Weather sucks 5 months of the year but we do have Regional Site hospitals in Jax, Fl. and Scottsdale, Az. But I can't take the heat in the summer at either, one too many heat strokes in some damn sandbox. Az. for a few months in the winter is at the top of my list right now, can't handle all the people and traffic anymore East of the Mississippi. Well except for Wisconsin, I like Wi. a lot but that would be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. Or more like snowbank.

A lot of people have told me where you retire depends a lot on where the kids\grandkids end up living. My oldest son is in Boston, not going to happen LOL.

2 Star and Cdr. ended up in South Dakota of all places, in fact I would normally be there right now for our annual pheasant hunt. But have stepped in one too many badger holes and my ankles can't take it anymore. 2 other retired Navy friends have homes in Oahu and spend 6 months of the year there in the winter. I spent 6 months on the rock in the 70's and that was long enough it gets too small for me. Not sure what the right answer is guess it is whatever makes you happy. But I am already dreading the winter and snow this year.

Watching KTLA 5 Morning news and it looks very bad up in Canyon Country and the fire jumping the 14 fwy

Hopefully the winds die off today a predicted but weather reports are stating another Santa Ana wind event for Sunday with much stronger winds

Did okay , found out I've lost about 4° flexion ROM . The PT said that normal and to be expected as I've not had supervised PT in a week . I've got 12 days of at home supervised PT and will work hard to regain my ROM

Also I got authorization for PT at a facility close by my house in Hesperia and that'll start on Nov 15th
