I got it done by Dr Perkins (from Barnett, Delaney Perkins) about 4 years ago. Best $ ever spent hands down. I think it cost me around $3,700, I know it was less than 4k and it was for the most advanced tech available at that time, Custom Lasik. My vision was absolutely horrible prior to the surgery.

If you have an HSA or FSA account through work make sure you use that to your advantage in order to get the tax benefit as well

Looks like I know where to look first. I'll be paying cash so I'll see if that helps get the cost down at all. I have a pretty minor vision correction (-1.75/-1.25) so I can always wait if need be.

I had mine done last Friday by Dr Perry at Lasik Plus in Scottsdale. Only needed one eye done. Cost me $1600. Best money ever spent. I have 20/15 in my right eye now.

He also did both of my wifes eyes about 10 years ago. Her's are still perfect.

I went to Barnett Dulaney near the Biltmore area after I was told I'm not a candidate for Lasik due to a small hole in the back of my eye. At Barnett I got ICL (implantable contact lens) and paid about $6,000 for both eyes which included follow up appts for a month and all the appts leading up to surgery. Best choice I've made. There was a 15% discount I received through my vision insurance as well. You may want to see if your vision insurance covers anything.

Just need to make the hole a little bigger so I can pull the truck inside this winter to keep it warm.

Went there a few months back for the first time. Really fun little town. I think we went to a bar in the basement of a dorm that was hard to find, you had to enter through an alley or something.

What’s the story with 2nd gen hubs these days? Who all is making them? Found one guy but unsure there are others.
Also, what else should I be replacing when I replace them? Brakes and ball joints?

Its Friday and its gonna be a long one. To the east valley people, avoid Val Vista and Baseline this weekend and next. Starting today at 2pm through Monday at 5am Val Vista will be restricted to one lane from Baseline to the 60 both NB and SB.
