Tabasco actually. You can eat La Hot sauce in a bind but be real. Tabasco for the win.

    Good morning TW :pccoffee:,

We’re playing at Texas A&M and 10pt underdogs. I’m a little surprised the spread is that much, but not to be underdogs.

Is A&M better than their record indicates? I get that losing at Rocky Top made the Miss State stock drop out of sight lol.

It may be badass....and dangerous, but its not like they are out there wading through the rivers, snatching up 9-12 foot gators with their bare hands and strangling them....

The gators are on a hook, a large hook that is in their guts, and they shoot them with a rifle. I get this is a safer way for the hunters to do it....

My point was that this was the best Louisiana has to offer....Think of when you get deeper into the bayous and slums.

Now, Louisiana has in my opinion the best food, and is much more culturally rich than most other states in the nation just based off of New Orleans with fantastic food, drink and music. So, I reckon that balances out the other end of the spectrum.

    I agree.

If you’re at MSU and smell Sunday lunch cooking, it’s Coach JoMo’s hot seat.

Not seeing the offensive guru. It’s like we hired a successful jr college coach that won games on WR speed sweeps.

This is his 2nd season. I think it’s a case of the guy following the guy. The way Mullen hyped up State and the #1 ranking that ended with Bama lol, I don’t think any coach would’ve worked out. I’d like to give him at least 3-4 recruiting cycles before changing. You know how fans and boosters are ridiculous with expectations and what not.

Also the Paul Finebama interview left many in doubt of his commitment, he dodged the question (at least that’s the perception sports journalists are viewing it).

I dunno man, there has been this push lately that coaches simply cant turn around a program in 2-3 years. It's rare that they do.

    Urban Meyer
    Nick Saban

Those types of guys can get in there and instill a strong cultural change. (I'm sure there are more, I just have a lot on my mind with work right now and cant think of any other obvious guys off the top of my head)

It takes much more time, like 4-6 years.

Hell, Dabo was at Clemson for how many years before they really became a national powerhouse?

When it comes to leadership (which is really what is being analyzed here) there is a saying about development. "Slow is fast, fast is slow." Meaning, if you develop leaders and culture and such quickly, later on the development will be slow. But if you take your time, creating change and cultural integrity, later on down the road things will move/develop/change much more quickly.

Changing the culture of a team/university is very difficult. It is actually much easier for a CEO of a Fortune 100 company (think Apple) to change the culture than it is at the University. As a head coach, you have a WHOLE lot more stakeholders to keep happy, who have actual, real authority and input requirments.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Is Tabasco even really hot sauce? It's just vinegar with a some peppers added. Nothing hot or sauce about it.

I think our AD will keep JoMo at least thru 2020-2021. The AD has a few bad hires and was criticized for hiring Penn State’s OC, instead of a head coach. Another snag is he wants to OC, and that’s difficult to pull off in the power 5 let alone in the secw. Coach O earned my respect by hiring an OC & DC and letting them do their job. I know many dispute this, the other teams slowly get ahead each series by sitting in the booth analyzing every play, call and so on. There’s a lot of pregame game prep, but much is changed in real time during the game.

Ultimately it’s about who has the most 4 & 5 star players or Jimmy’s and Joe’s. We need more lol that’s how freeze beat Saban twice with 5 star receivers.

Whatever happens I wish Coach the best as he’s given us class, integrity, accessibility to him and a friendly handshake when passing. Merlin was simply indifferent towards everyone.

Well really it's on the schools for hiring with no experience as HC's or trying to get the "next urban/dabo/saban", some guys are just meant to be coordinators or run a small programs. Look at the difference between FSU and Florida, both new hires and look at the dramatic difference in programs...how long can you go with a losing record with little improvement showing? It's not the pro's when you can rebound off a terrible few years with high draft picks...hard to recruit when you're a losing program.

Tabasco is made about 80 miles from where I live. It’s the crappiest stuff out there. Too much of a chemical taste. But they do have some designer stuff that is great. Look at their website.
