    RCI makes a very narrow skid, I think that's normal for that brand. I would try and find some other photos of them installed on 1st gens to confirm, but from I remember seeing on their website (installed on a 3rd gen T4R) it looked very narrow. Doesn't cover the cams either on the LCAs like a wider skid does.

    I guess the advantage would be less weight, and the ability to work on the cams and maybe do a few other things without removing the skid. But less protection

    @JasonLee looks like that's just normal for the RCI skid, this is from their photo of one on a 3rd gen T4R... although it does look like it covers slightly more of the radiator on this pic
