Could very well be layoffs with no severance package. Were you the low man on the totem pole or the sr that made too much?

@Ironcross6921 File for unemployment immediately, even if you don't intend to use it. The process takes a few weeks to get started and receive any payment. If they dispute it, they have to give written reason which will be shown to you in order for you to respond. If they don't dispute it, as I said it takes a few weeks and there are requirements you have to meet to demonstrate you are looking for work weekly as well as filing every two weeks in order to get paid (it won't just start happening).

If you are friends with anyone there you could ask and see if they know what's up or if anyone else was let go. No matter how good of terms you were on with a manager, you're unlikely to get an answer or response out of them even through personal channels because it could potentially expose the company to liability. You'd have to be really good friends or it would have to be a poor work environment. Otherwise you're unlikely to ever know a specific reason if there is one. It's a shitty position to be in, and also a lot easier to say this than do it, but the best thing is to forget about them and focus on what's next.

Here is the definition of Irony....

    A few years ago, I bought a 2006 Tundra.
Elevations Credit Union was used to secure the loan, not thru any choice of mine, thru the dealer.
I paid the loan off in half the time, under 3 years, title is mine, done deal.
The credit union, deposited $25.00 into the account as a "welcome to the family" gesture or some shit like that, I don't remember.
So for the last couple years or so, they send me a monthly statement showing the balance of $25.00.
I always shrug and throw it away.
about 3 months ago, they send me a letter stating that they are taking $10.00 out of the account, if they account continues to go unused.
Last month's statement showed the deduction of $10.00.

This month I get a letter stating that there is not enough money in the account to keep the member benefits , and they would like me to deposit a minimum of $10.00 into the account to keep it active....

I'm going to the FoCo branch office to see if I can get the $15.00 back that they originally deposited, and maybe buy beer with it.
    People are fucking stupid.

@JasonLee Very satisfied with the light! Thanks for the recommendation!

I must have gotten an updated version from the one people were complaining about in the reviews. The charging port has an O-ring now and it attached to the body of the light.
