Khabib will do to Ferguson what he's done to everyone else. Fergusons takedown defense is 75%. He better get that number a lot higher in a fight with Khabib if he wants to win.

Looks like Askren is a bust. Love it when the guys that are super hyped fail miserably.

Perhaps, but I sure hope El Cucoy takes him. All of the top fighters or ones with long runs get taken eventually if they dont step out on top.

Khabib is a great fighter, but from my standpoint is not as entertaining to watch, Tony on the other hand is extremely entertaining and unique. I hope khabib eats a dick.

TF vs KN is definitely the fight to make at 155. I feel like it has been for a while now. I really like the what if’s of TFs unorthodox style, cardio and slick ground game. However, I still have khabib winning that fight. If the top pressure is unrelenting and as skilled as khabibs is, tony won’t be able to successfully get anything going from his back that will put khabib in danger. When Dustin had khabib in that guillotine we actually got to see how khabib reacted to someone with a solid submission attempt from the bottom. To anyone who trains and knows grappling first hand, that scape escape was a flawless execution that landed khabib back in a dominant position. That demonstrated such a high grappling IQ. Fascinating to watch. Any hope I had of Tony winning that match kind of dissipated after that Dustin guillotine. I’ll certainly never count Tony out. But I bet all my money on Khabib confidently

I thought Dustin made a mistake with his choke positioning and shouldve went with a full guard?

Watch it again. As soon as Poirier gets the choke he tries to pull guard. Khabib blocks his leg from coming through and then rolls out to his side. It was deep and Khabib did exactly what you are supposed to do do defend it. It was textbook.

I'd say Conor fights before Tony gets a shot at the belt

I don’t think Khabib really wants to fight Tony, or the UFC doesn’t want it (or both). It’s clear they are gunning for a weakened GSP at 155 but they better be careful what they ask for because GSP will do the weight cut right and is smarter than they might think. I think if the fight with Tony happens a focused Khabib still beats him but I could also see Tony taking him to deep water and finishing him with some of those nasty elbows, maybe a cut, or he tires him out and wins on points, but 5e likely result will be just like the DP fight. Until someone knocks Khabib out I’m going to assume it can’t happen.

Both. Im sure Connor fights in January now that he is through all his court bullshit. Donald Cerrone or Justin Gaethje. My vote for justin. He's an exciting fighter. Looking forward to more from him.
T ferg is the fuckin man so he better get his shot. I might make a social media account just to start bitching at Dana White for my boy.

Anyone can be knocked out, including Khabib. We he looses it will be from a knockout. That when may be a long time off or it may happen in his next fight. lol

IDK man. If he really wants to go down as one of the greats he needs a lot more title defenses to do that. He's 31 so he still has some time. What's Jones at now for title defenses? Like 14? That's the bar. A frikkin huge one that will most likely never get broken.

I feel like Tony getting a shot is inevitable at this point. Question is. Does Connor fight Cowboy/Justin before they give Tony the deal?
It’s only a matter of time for Tony

If CMG fights again I want to see him against Justin G. I think Justin takes the W as long as he utilizes his skills and not just stand+bang.

I don’t mind seeing Donald C going against Connor only if Donald has been in a healthy break. I think that would be a good going away fight for Donald win or lose.
