Currently I run the clear covers on my D2s for output sake and protection. Only use the amber 2% of the time, kills the output of them massively. I run the BD fogs anytime the headlights come on, only use the D2s on back roads in the mornings. I may switch thr BD fogs for RI down the road for more adjustable angles once I level my truck, then replace the D2 with either D pros or D pro XL. To many options not enough money lol. Good problem I guess, and after reading your articles i dissect/ look in lighting. It's a new world now that I know more metrics other than raw lumens etc.

That's a stand up reply. Thank you. I wish more lighting vendors / manufacturers were like that.

What bracket are you using to mount the D-series? I got some Rago mounts and did a bunch of trimming and still couldn't get them to fit...

Couldn't get them to fit? In what way? I used the Rago D-series mounts: CF52B473-6906-4A6F-A467-B2E2523E9BA9.jpg

The new 360 series will offer an OEM mount kit:

I think the new lights were announced just a couple weeks after I finally got mine mounted. At first I was waiting on the Baja fogs to see which would be better, then once I decided to go with Rigid I had some delays in getting the Rago mounts and once I got them the first mounts had the light mount tabs up-side-down, so I had to wait for another production run. (They handled it very well). I'm always waiting on the next thing to come out and when I finally install something then it feels like the next thing is being launched and I have to swap them out. :annoyed:

You just sent the pics to me, but I had similar issues on the driver side, but my driver side isn't quiet square anymore after a trail impact so I chalked up the imperfection to the bumper. I was able to get them installed satisfactory to my liking. I over bored the drill holes in the bumper (not the mount) and used washers on the back side of the bumper to give me more adjustability in place, as I found trying to get the alignment/seating perfect with good aim with the exact right size hole was not very feasibible. It certainly wasn't as direct/easy of an install as I thought it would be, just took a little time to dial in. Did you trim adequate clearance behind the mount to clear the bracket? I had to clean mine up a couple times to avoid interference issues.

    My not so perfect bumper

Pushing the damage back out. It is better looking now that pictured once I got it cleaned up and under the truck to deal with it.

I worked it out much better than those pics not long afterward. The bumper definitely isn't in new condition anymore, but now I at least am less concerned on subsequent trail runs.

Gotta love these super wide rigid fog beams! They’ll light up the side walks so you won’t hit those trick-or-treaters. They also won’t blind the kids

excited to see those 360s @crashnburn80

    360 fogs started shipping today!

Mine are delayed a couple days for the Toyota mount kit, but I should have them next week!

The beam pattern is unique on these vs the D-series, with essentially dual stacked fog patterns, the upper being higher intensity and the fill in below being softer intensity with just a very slight gap between to stay within the peak intensity J583 compliant threshold. Should be really interesting to analyze in person.

Will be patiently waiting for your review. Looking forward to seeing them in the wild and some output shots.

I plan on installing one SAE 360 on one side of my truck to compare with the SAE D-series on the other side to get some real world output shot comparisons on the street as part of the review.

You can try a black out cloth to mask one off for a side by side comparison. Either way I still cant wait for the review. I may end up swapping the BD for the 360 sae fogs in the future.

    Pumped for the 360 review.

I’m a firm BD fan, but ditched my squadron fogs (non-SAE) and reverted back to OEM. Was all set to pick up the KC G4’s as I much prefer the aesthetics of a round fog vs a pod. Plus @crashnburn80 review of them showed some impressive results.

Then Rigid dropped these 360’s. Time will tell if they are worth the wait and the extra coin.

For 2 light comparison photographs I find it valuable to include side-by-side shots with both lights in the picture at the same time, as then all nuances of the camera shot are applied identically to both lights. Because cameras can lie. :)

The white G4’s are pretty stellar performers and look super clean. Rigid has improved (lowered) their white color temp for the 360s, but I doubt it is going to match the 5000k from the G4’s. It will be interesting to compare for sure.
