Just as the title asks, did Toyota finally install a grab handle on the driver side A-pillar of the 2020 or are we still waiting.....

Toyota assumes all Tacoma owners are crossfit junkies with strong core muscles.

I must be getting old. Climbing in the truck can be challenging some days. I am glad there is one on the passenger side or i would never hear the end of it from my wife.

Correct, no for the driver's side on the 2020 DCLB TRD OR i looked at last week. My wife pointed it out as she was looking for it to get into the driver's seat.

The real question is whether the @MESO matched set will be available by 2020...

    Me too!

But the driver's side grab handle on my TOYOTA 4R works much better than my taco steering wheel.

Specially when I'm aching all over...Trust me on this :D

I wonder how many current owners will run right out and trade their 3rd Gen in when a grab handle is offered? Not me.

Why can't Toyota design an electric seat that will extend out so you can just sit in it and be lifted into the truck?

    Fuck Toyota, POS truck...

i never called these 'oh shit' handles, always called them access handles (something like that anyways), the driver does not need a handle for oh shit times, that is your steering wheel you better be holding onto
the 'oh shit' handle has always been above the passenger window :cookiemonster: so your passenger does not fall into you while cornering
oh shit handle was deleted when the airbag above the window was introduced, or this is how i always was under the impression of :notsure:
