St. Joseph state park is the closet public land I know of. It's about 2 hours south of St. Louis. BTW Creve Coeur park has a great mountain bike trail if anyone is interested. I'll hit the trails with you.

There ok. Nothing too crazy, there in the upper side by the softball fields. Personally I like LostValley over all of them Castlewoods fun but busy and a hair rocky from the trails ive riden...

Lost valley is basiclly ALL singletrack thru the woods, creeks, mud, its got it all

Should we make it official for Oct. 23rd at Creve Cour Park if no objections? I didn't realize till now the 23rd is a saturday, we can make it for the 24th if a sun works better for everyone. If so, all we need is a time. How does 11:00 sound to everyone?

I've ridden Castlewood and Lost Valley. My favorite is Greensfelder, right behind Six Flags. If you get a chance check out www.gorctrails.com they build and maintain all of the trails in St. Louis area. Im' down with the 23rd @ Creve Coeur.

PFS and all others who plan on attending,

So where in Creve Couer Park shall we meet? I googled it and looked

at maps of the park and it is HUGE. There are a lot of choices. I thought a

spot with mountain bike trail access, bathrooms, scenic view/on river or

lake, picnic tables, and parking would be suitable. What does everyone

else think? Who knows this park well and can suggest a good spot?? I am

open to all and any input on this one as I am from IL, not MO. Pere

Marquet State Park just north of Grafton, IL might be a good location for

our third STL meet. Just a thought.....

I'm new to the forum and my wife and I would like to make it out to meet our fellow st louis tacoma owners. Problem is we both work on Sunday's but it seems like the Saturday the 23rd is the consensus. Is this confirmed?

Saturday or Sunday the wife and I will be there. We'll bring our crappy MTB's for some riding fun. Are the trails there more scenic or technical out of curiosity?
