Maybe I will see if I can round up some time and make them on Sunday either breakfast or dinner. I know tomorrow is a wash.

I did the keto thing for 5 months earlier this year and had some serious cravings for biscuits & gravy. If you're celiac this won't help but there are some good low carb flour mixes out there. I used Carb Quick: https://www.amazon.com/Carbquik-Baking-Mix-48/dp/B000G0EP78/ for biscuits and it made a great roux for thickening the sausage gravy.

If you're celiac, almond flour makes a passable biscuit. Not nearly as good if you're trying to eat it with butter but if you're slathering it with gobs o' snausage gravy then they don't really need to be super nice & flaky

...^^^...This thread is making me crazy ... this pic caused me to have a dream about biscuits and gravy last night :hungry: ... I go out Sunday morning early to the local "Flying Biscuit Restaurant" to have some biscuits and gravy.

And to think that I hated biscuits and gravy as a kid ...

I was a picky eater until the military ... then I learned to love any and all foods ... :hungry: ... lol

...^^^...Probably both ... crazy before and after ... it's difficult to drop 20 lbs and see this good food here.

Plus this thread is encouraging me to learn to cook a few things.

We've done that on occasion as well.

Another "breakfast for dinner" I do is "monster hash" - basically a hash with potatoes, bacon, sausage, onion, red/green peppers, mushrooms, and once it's all sauteed to within an inch of its life - eggs.

Good for the soul, and it'll make a wonderful turd.

That sounds pretty wonderful I mean anything that you can cook that soaks up all of the pork grease has gotta to be good.
