It is when the 01 is on the new frame. Do you not see what I’m doing here? I want to build the whole chassis up for the 01 so all I have to do once it’s all painted up is set the body on the frame and button up the other stuff

i am fortunate that the mechanics on my truck are fabulous and near tipTop (for the most part) at its age or i don't know what i would do

it looks like these trucks are getting 200k 300k miles with not many issues, so that gives me a sigh of relief!

Silver antisieze is what we use at work on pulleys, sprockets, gears and shafts. If it doesnt work when we pull stuff off again, we break out the acetylene torch and sledges. Done even bother with pullers, etc.

    Propane/acetylene just sound dangerous.

Oxy/acetylene gets all I need done.
And map gas for smaller things that don’t need melting

That's the good stuff. Aluminum antisieze. The copper one is good too but seems the silver has been best for me. Someone in the salt belt prolly knows if one is better than the other

Its capable of heat that's just plain excessive, but we frequently work with train axles and such that are seized and it helps get them apart in the 120ton press
