    In most cases, yes. I’m actually surprised he hasn’t been yet.

    When I got here let sunday he lost his shit on me but never bit me. He lunged at me more times than I could count but I never made eye contact with him during the time. I gave him a wide berth and let him know that at this time, he was in charge and I wasn’t a threat. After the 2nd day he was wagging tail and happy to see me. Now, he won’t leave my side.

    I wish people understood animals more. He’s really a good dog and never deserved anything that came down his way. Unfortunately it is what it is and re-homing him if ever that were the case would be hard on him and the new owner.

    Here, he has 5 acres to run around on and chase birds, ducks, bunnies and any other unfortunate animal that happens in the yard.

    I’d take him but it would be a disservice to him and I think it would affect him more since he wouldn’t have the freedom he has now.

    You can’t blame the dog for its faults. In most cases it’s humans who have failed the animal and they just don’t know how to act. I was viciously attacked by a shepherd when I was a child but have never disliked them. In most cases it’s bad ownership by people who really shouldn’t own dogs like that in the first place
