Power company called me Thursday and asked permission to trim the trees along the powerlines on my property. I thought they were just gonna trim branches that were hanging above the lines. They killed all the trees under the powerlines which completely exposed my gate & opened up & widened my narrow hidden driveway. They even killed the evergreen trees that the wife & I planted last year. I called & made a complaint, forestry dept is suppose to contact me back.

 

Just remember there is a dollar value on each tree. Inventory all of them and consult a lawyer. I know cause every tree we even scar the bark on we pay for and it’s a lot of dough. Don’t know how that works in WVA though. I feel for you brother. It takes many years to get that cover back.

 

Anyway, @RobP62, where’s the promised updates and pics of your fabulous Keys vacation? You know I am living vicariously through you, and I need more! Haha, gotta buddy who lives in Needmore. I need pics of the wind blowing through your hair in the convertible! Pics of you frolicking on the beach in your little speedo. You and your wife dining on filet and Lobster. I’m dying here Rob!

I know, pisses me off! I liked how my driveway was kinda hidden before.

 

It’s gonna be really open once the leaves fall . They need to replant some evergreens to block fence line

good luck w/the power co. Dave, my friend has around 200 acres in Hinton, power lines run thru his property, they come in every several years and cut an spray at will, and there's nuthin he can do !!!

 

Not sure about going to the meet on Sunday at this point. Looks like rain all day and I have no desire to stand in a parking lot getting soaked.

 

yeah I’m also considering not going. I might go depending on the weather. I’m right down the street..

 

I'll check the weather tonight and see what happens. I have about a 45 minute ride from Ellicott City so would kinds suck to drive up just to turn around and come back home. Long trip for a donut lol

 

There’s plenty of breweries up here to check out if you did haha. But I hear ya.
