crazy. kind of like taking your $40K vehicle to Greasy Monkey or his friend Jiffy da Lube. Sure to come back with cross threaded bolts, oil everywhere and a quart short. Duh.

    Can we stop pedaling this?
The issue has nothing to do with the level of the fluid. It is all about 1 and 0.

Let me start by saying I'm 100% new to OVTune, just installed this week. I'm running 1.5 87 octane

I'm having a weird (similar) issue with hills. My normal ride home has small hills, and I'm trying to keep a constant speed of 45-55 mph. My RPMs are constantly jumping between 1500-2100. Any ideas, or is this a zendesk issue?

Is (944) 87 octane? I’m PCM, but would really like that file if it exists.

There are no benefits for you to stay on 1.05.
    Switch to 2.0

For me, absolutely a better build than the newest release. Keep in mind it’s just because of the hills I drive. If I was on flat ground I’d be partial to the newest release because of the MPG bonus on my truck. I have the dongle version in 93 but I’ll look when I get home from work to see if I grabbed the 87 version too cause I seem to recall downloading it.

944 was from the 1st Beta release. The image shows all of the 04B04 PCM files that were released on the OVTune download page. If one of these is what you need let me know...

Thanks DES, I’m just looking for a 4.88 87 octane tune with aggressive tip-in (if it exists)

What does “+P+M” mean on the tune extension?

The files in that list were ALL of the 04B04 PCM files released on Mat's download page. If there are any others, they may have been something he emailed or made available on a case by case basis to specific people. I didn't flash any of the Betas until Beta 3 came out. I don't know what the +P+M means.. the files on my computer carry the original filename that Mat gave them. Maybe somebody else knows?

Thjat's the thing for us Vlady, we're not dropping to 4th, our trucks are skipping 4th completely and dropping into 3rd from 5th gear.

Those skipping from 5th to 3rd... is this with ECT on? Or having had it on earlier in the same drive?

To anyone making comments like the one above...

"our trucks are skipping 4th completely" is a totally useless comment if no one but you knows what year your truck is and what version of the tune you are running. That info should be included in your post or included under your avatar. No one wants to spend time searching through posts to try to figure out what you have.

I also went back to 10867. It was the original and the best so far for me. I'm 04B04 and I have a 2017 Off Road.

If that were the case, it wouldn't be shifting perfectly fine on the stock tune. For those of us with recently built trucks, the underfilled transmission problem isn't as prevalent anyway.

That's exactly what mine does on 4.88 2.0 19800, and I submitted a ticket. It depends entirely on the grade of the incline.

In 5th I keep pressing the pedal more and more, while the speed goes down, and then it shifts to 3rd, and it picks up speed. Then into 4th and 5th, and if the incline is long enough, the pattern repeats itself.

Sorry... not me. I only D/L'd the files for 04B04 cuz I'd didn't think Mat would ever ok file sharing again. I just downloaded the files I might need for my own truck.

You are welcome to believe what you want, but I’m not convinced it’s changed since 2016. It’s quick and easy to verify and people just go “nope my truck is fine” then complain about transmission issues. My 2016 was low by a half quart and it made a significant difference.

also if you have significant issues with a tune, report it to zendesk and flash back to stock and wait for the next revision. Pretty simple.
