Didn't find any threads with this.......

Just wanted to share my experience with the CalTrend neophrene seat covers.

I just got them for $310 shipped from autoanything.com ( both front and rear )

I chose the black on black since it goes well with my weathertech mats and the grey interior.

Very nice tight fit for the seats....... good alternative for the Okoles and bit cheaper too

I'm just looking from my phone, so I apologize if these are silly questions.

1: you said black on black. From my phone, it definitely looks like a fairly light gray. Am I missing something?

2: is there an option to have a heating element and does the rear pocket come standard?

    Thanks for posting.

Yeah, they look a bit grey due to the sun at it's highest point that day.... but they are black ... just as black as the weathertech floormats...... I'll see if I can get better pictures

The pockets come standard..... don't think there's a heating element option

Yeah, looks that way in the picture, but these are only about 24 hours old at this point so they are a bit stiff at some points on the seats... I'll see if i can get better pictures

I just tried to ring up an order. However, it came to $429.90. I'm not sure what I'm missing.

Also, without walking outside (it's lazy-time), what style do I have? My truck is a DCSB TRD Off Road. Do I have:
    • "Sport bucket seats with side airbag"
    • "Bucket seats with flat-folding passenger, with side airbag"?
    Thanks again for the tip.

lol That's what I thought. Though I wasn't certain about he "Flat-Folding passenger", I guess I got thrown off mainly when I looked at the Okole options, and not the CalTrend ones:
    • Bucket Seat - Sport bucket with headrest and side airbag
    • Bucket Seat - Sport bucket with headrest, with side airbag
Anyone else seeing a difference there?

Anyway, how about the price? Still a little confused how the OP got the set for $310.

    I have a 2010 PreRunner TRD DCLB......

For the front seats I have the Sport bucket seats with side airbags......

As far as how I got the price..... at checkout I used coupon RT50, that'll take off $50....... and I ordered these on Labor day weekend when they were running 15% off the order as well ( I had to call them to get them to tack on the 15% after I placed the order with the RT50 coupon since it wouldn't combine with the $50 coupon through the website)

Cool thing was the 15% was off the original total :)

    So: $429-15% off = $364, then minus the RT50 coupon = $314 shipped

    Hope this helps

Looks great... WO although nice but way over priced..I get compliments on mine all the time...and I used the $150 I saved from not purchasing WO for other mods. I have coverkings I got from Costco.

Yeah, the reason why I went with these as, it was much cheaper than the Wet Okole's and were still custom fit for the seats........

The $200 I saved goes towards other mods......

BTW I did check that group buy for the Wet Okole's and it was still about $100+ more

So not sure if this counts, but I did the neosupreme. I'll have to try to adjust them but mine have got slop in the lower backs. They have been on about 6 months, not sure I would recommend them. I'm a smoker and they don't hold up to burns well. There is one tiny little melt spot I am pretty careful about it. Another little spot that looks cut, I may have had a metal chip stuck to my ass? I'm a machinist it happens. The spots you can see are rain drops. Mine are black with light gray centers, the light gray is showing some filth.
Overall ok I guess, think they were 170 for fronts only. Next set will be carharts but will have to be washed and dried several times first.

So they cleaned up ok with a damp cloth and a very little dish soap. The bunching disappears after some time of not being in them.
I might have them to tight to get rid of the bunching on the sides.
Anywho they work for now the colors go well with the interior. Still for me I don't think I would get them again.
