I stopped at 2 different Costco's today, one near my brothers house just because I was in the area and one in my neighborhood. Nothing worth noting. Although they did have Don Julio 1942 for $109.

That's a great price. I paid $169 per bottle in Cabo last year. The other groomsmen caught me on the Sunday morning walk of shame with a bottle in hand. Couldn't remember her name that morning but I sure remembered the bottle on my way out :D

The weather is finally cool here on the bay. Been wanting to try this flight for a long time now. WTF are you drinking?

Edit: I probably won't be able to taste anything for the rest of the weekend, but it's totally worth it.

It’s great, my favorite rye that I’ve had. Smooth, flavorful and with the right amount of rye “spice”

WOW! That's a helluva flight. I think I've tried 3 Octomores in a sitting and they already started running together. Palate crusher for sure! Did you have a favorite?

It's a really solid rye for ~$30. Keep an eye out for the Double Rye finished in other casks. It'll come in a pearlescent bottle and the label on the side will tell you what barrel it was finished in. I've had the gin barrel finished and I think it is great. I tried the scotch barrel finished one as well, which was also a treat. They did a good job of keeping it in the rye family, but the cask finish definitely leaves a mark.
