The shock tower gussets make it a real pain to work on. Even the TC guys don't use them unless you are really going to hammer it.

    I have mods
I still can but probably won't. I chopped the lower arm shorter than what is pictured. I'm still trying to figure out the whole latch part of it.

This ones not going to get romped on.
The other frame having some damage in areas and not rotted will be the one I build up.
Just need to find a body, I’ve got a full drivetrain for it. And I have enough suspension for it to be drivable, but ultimately my goal for the other frame is long travel. Now that my tundras doneish my Tacoma is priority one. Which means hopefully next year I can start on that future 5 year project! Lol

Some times I absolutely hate my truck and working on it. Started getting a 120 code randomly and bought a tps to swap out. Finally had a couple free mins this morning and the blasted screws started stripping. Ordered a set of JIS screwdrivers for round 2.

Need to remove the throttle body and clean it so maybe I’ll attempt that when the screwdrivers come in.

Just ruin the heads and remove them and replace them with allen head ones from the hardware store.

It’s just not my day to work on stuff. Working on my day off and it’s been nothing but issues with an alternator I’m swapping in a bus.

Pulled it into the shop and spent a few hours loosening bolts and nuts.

have you tried that sea foam throttle body cleaner? It’s approved for aluminum parts, the only one Ford approved. I used it after my TPS went out. On TPS sensors, the only one that works is the OEM Denso one. The aftermarket ones don’t work right. At least for me.
