Washed the 19 OR DCSB. Then, jazzed up the tires with this stuff:

By the looks of that impact I bet the frame is bent and cab is damaged as well. IMO, dont think this one is fixable. Sorry about your loss. Hope everyone is ok.

Your perfectly right. All it takes is a phone call stating they are backed up in the service bay before you took time off work to pick up your vehicle would have went a long way.

I appreciate it. Yes, the frame is definitely bent and the back of the cab is creased. I'm betting it's done, but it will be appraised Monday.

I've not gone through this before so if you all have any tips let me know. Obviously, I'm not at fault here, and my insurance has been fantastic to deal with so far. Very impressed with MetLife

It's great to take our dogs with us when we travel but just one suggestion, look into getting a dog harness or restraint, especially for the little guy in the front. We all love or dogs(sometime as much as our kids) and don't want to see them get hurt if for some reason you had to make a quick stop.

When i bought mine, the salesman printed the invoice and the price they quoted me was 2k under.

He said, "this is not a negotiable price, you either want it, or you don't."

I looked at him and said, "bring on the paper work."

Then i bought all the warranty stuff and jacked the price right up there anyway. But at 1.9% i was ok with that. Already used the tire warranty over a rivet in the sidewall. Now if anything else happens to my tires they will be free basically.

I've been rear ended 3x times in my life. Walked away from all incidents with no long term damage, luckily. Keep in mind that ALL insurance companies don't want to pay, they are in business to make money, not loose it. I fought with my insurance company for over a month, had to do my own research to get replacement value for my car and forced the insurance company to provide a 2nd appraisal because the 1st one "low balled" the value of the car. This doesn't mean you have to be nasty, just firm with getting the best price. If the other person is charged( I assume they would be), follow up with the police and local prosecutor to make sure you get called as a witness to court if it gets that far. I have seen too many times where situations like these get "pleaded out" and the victim(you) is not consulted. The person that caused the accident should be prosecuted considering the level of damage caused to your vehicle and you. Perhaps you didn't get any physical damage but I can tell you it causes a lot of extra stress and cost to you and your family because of what you have to go through after the mess is cleaned up off the road.
On another note, I have recently added this mod to my Taco. Not that it would have helped much in your situation considering I didn't even see any skid marks from slowing down from the car that hit you.

How did the Black Satin Tire Coating work out for you? I started a thread on it a couple weeks ago in the detailing section.

Forgot to post these. Loaded her with 800+ lbs of fire pit flagstone wall bricks and sand. Didn’t mod the taco but the taco helped me mod my yard. 1711F402-59A1-410B-97A0-4D65FF2CEB09.jpgC410627C-C869-4BC9-9B20-9DA1251DA99B.jpg 633217E5-9852-4C52-BAB6-E8D43CD50774.jpg88F5412B-2B74-4103-80CB-6021119D799C.jpg

Love the White Mtns. Been there many times. Quite a hike from where I live. Only been in the winter time. Have skied at Loon, Cannon, Bretton Woods, Attitash/Bears Peak, Cranmore and Wildcat. Also rented snow mobiles in Bartlett on Super Bowl Sunday one year before the game. Beautiful area and hope to get back some day. Would love to go during the warmer months and go up Mt Washington.

I agree. I don't understand why people can't use proper punctuation where you can actually make sense out of what they are trying to say. He shouldn't be dealing with any customers.

I agree with this philosophy. Sound fair to me. Hate all the bs back and forth.
