Well guys the truck is getting up there in miles. My 2017 has just reached 28k and I'm in the market for new tires soon, still have some alright tread left and I know everyone on here is a fan of the Wildpeaks. I'm actually going a different direction and will probably pick up the Michelin LTX A/T in a 265/70R 16. Gonna go a little taller and a little wider. I know the Falkens come with a 55k warranty and these have a 60k. Anyone run with these tires or have any experience with them? These factory Firestones are just junky. I'm still torn between the two and the price points are very different, any knowledge would be great in helping me decide ultimately.

Yep. They are great so far. Only had them for 3k miles though.

The LTX is a great tire for everyday use. I've ran it on a handful of different vehicles, although not my Tacoma. Although, I am considering them for the Tacoma when I swap out the 265/75r16 LT BFG K02 ATs that are currently on my truck (I do not need that aggressive of a tire anymore, and they ride poor.)

No, but I hate the tread on these tires. They look like something a Corolla would have. I'll last through the winter but I have the option to upgrade sooner than later.

Are you able to flip the white lettering to the inside? I know little about tires, I'd assume either side of a tire is the same. Those look nice but the lettering just isn't my cup of tea.

Well the thing is my dad and I both have the exact same truck and he's dead set on getting these for his, I've done so much research on the Falkens and just fallen in love with the look and the overall positive experience people have with them. These seem to be more of an all weather tire where as the Falkens are more of an A/T. Dad does a lot of highway driving and his truck is showroom finish. I on the other hand do light trail riding for camping and fishing and could really use that extra little beefiness the Falkens seem to have, especially on a 4x2.

They make an E load rated Michelin LTX AT2. Mine are the soft smooth riding SL.

With a 2wd truck, if you're going to be spinning the tires on rock much, you may want to go with the falkens since you'll likely chip the tread on the LTX quite a bit. Plus the Falken is significantly less expensive and cheaper to replace. If it was coming down to highway use, I would say the LTX is a no brainer. Tough decision and it may come down to your specific uses for the truck.

SCS RAY 10 wheels in Gunmetal. They are 17” and have a -10mm offset. Back suspension is still stock but the front is Toytec Boss and raised 1” over stock height.

I had them on my Powerwagon and they were great for a street biased all terrain. Part of that opinion comes from how well they did in the winter. So if that’s not a factor they may not be worth the added cost.

I’ve ran the LTX’s for years. Great tires. Just bought some Falkens 2 weeks ago to try an AT. So far, like them on the road. And I did switch from 265/70-16 to 265/75-16.

Thanks allot, I will be mounting 16x8 -10 on my stock suspension 2017 Tacoma. I doubt I will have any rubbing issues to deal with.

My tire size is 265/65/17. They didn’t rub even before the slight lift.

The Toyo AT2s are little bit better tire then falkens, you'll most likely see long tread life out of them over the falkens. I believe the falkens run a little cheaper though
