I’ll drink em. They got some solid brews. Stickee Monkey, parabajava, parabola. Really anything they bottle and “box” is good. Their core beers are always solid too and I really dig their luponic series they’ve been doin

Andy Frisella had that guy on Andy’s podcast called The MFCEO project and his story is insane. Give it a listen when you’re prepping food or something.

Supposed to be Landmine rows. Had it resting across another bar in the rack bending the fuck out of it. Stood up, proceeded to shrug about 4x.

Same dude loads the leg press with every 45 and then puts dumbbells on top of it and bends his knee as a rep. I don’t wish for people to get injured, except for this jackoff.

It’s awesome. Dude explains that his last iron mans were his fastest.
His hands became numb because the body was doing what it had to do to survive and took the blood flow from his hands and sent it to his brain/heart
His 50th and last one was his fastest whenever he should’ve just been dead basically. It’s incredible man.

he says “after you tear your shoulder, people just quit. It hurts. You’re done.

but if you push through the pain. If you keep going. It’s incredible how your body will adapt and fix itself and you can just keep going. Everyone says you have to stop when you tear it but that’s cause they don’t actually know what happens when you keep pushing”

    Recovery Day:
5 mile run at 12:00 pace. Its really hard to force yourself to run that slow but gotta for recovery run.
    Stretch routine
    Foam Roll
    Hot Tub

Pissing down rain this AM so did my workout on the TM. @weldertaco watched Iron Cowboy on Netflix while I ran. Great documentary. I want to read up more on how he recovered from all that LOL. That is incredible perserverance.

Unfortunately today while showering post workout I went to dry my legs and my knee is swollen and bruised right where my tear is.
    No bueno.
I’m in no pain today but yesterday I was.
I think Weds tempo day with a leg day right after was too much for it.
    :(
Two more months. All I need is it to hang in there two more months.

Breaking my fast with a 7 egg omlette with cheese and jalepenos.

He said it took a year to recover. Like to get feelings back in his hands and injuries to heal. In 2020 he’s gonna try to do 7 iron man on 7 continents so that’ll be incredible to watch.

    That will be!

And about the tearing... shit is not as painful as it sounds. At least not in my opinion.
My rotator cuff tear was only bad with certain movements but you could suck it up and do shit. Like I could have still benched and OHP, not heavy but its doable.
I don’t think the pain of some tears and injuries are as bad as the pain of running swimming and biking as much as he was lol. That shit is like a paper cut compared to the other pain he was in.
My knee... my pain I would describe as 1-3/10. Obviously yesterday it tore more. But its not like its crippling pain.
So I think for the lay person they think its assumed to be worse than it actually is.
At least thats my experience with injuries.

Thats why I love endurance sports. The combo between physiological and psychological pain is addicting. To push yourself to your physical limits is a great experience.

I’m excited for an ultra. Its impossible for your body to be prepared to run 50+ miles. So its a race where you are forced to go beyond your training and push yourself.

    179. Ate some donuts yesterday morning and they were awesome but somehow I stayed full all day so it didn’t kill my diet.

got a breakfast biscuit this morning and just ate the egg and sausage but gah it was good too lol.
    Foods awesome for sure.
