Good news boys! Toyota ordered my frame yesterday! They said it takes about 6 months to be delivered! Can’t wait! In the mean time they said I need hubs and bearings up front... they wanted $3200 for that but I’ll find somewhere else to do it cheaper.

Sounds like most people have waited, waited, finally accept it's going to actually be 6 months, then BAM - get a call the frame is here early let's go. Good Luck.

Take a good look at your brake & fuel lines. just redid them on my Tundra - should have been done when they did the frame. Now it's getting done & costing more money. If the frame is rotted - so is other stuff. TOYOTA! LOL. Good luck on the adventure.

You could probably do your front hubs for under $600 yourself and its a pretty easy job. That price is just theft lol

Ha, I had to laugh. "Been there since 2013". That's only 6 years. The company I work for starts you at 2 weeks and you get a 3rd week after 5 years, 4th week after 10 years, and 5th week after 20 years. Been with the same company now for almost 23 years. Now I am stuck cause if I change I will lose all that vacation time. I use every minute of it every year. Never understood the guys who don't take their vacation because they are too busy at work. If you are that busy, the company needs to hire help.

My previous job that I was at for a little over 10 years moved down south, so I had to find a new job... Definitely try to use every single vacation and personal day that I am given. Sick days I don't use unless I'm legitimately sick and need to call out 0 not a fan of playing hookie (spelling?!?!?!).

    Hey all

just purchased my first Tacoma. 2020 Pro.

was just wondering if there any add ons to the truck you guys think I definitely need. I got the tri fold. I want the predator steps but not sure if there are better aftermarket ones to get. And little items like the door gaurd or
protectors. Just wondering what your guys’ thoughts were.

    My .02 FWIW.

I'd go with a set of decent bolt on sliders.
I'm not a fan of the predators hanging low ready to snag something.
I put AllPros on the FJ with kickouts.
Several coats of self etching primer after degreasing. Then several coats of rattle can black with 3M gritty tape on top.
Easy to touch up as well.

    As said, just my .02.
