The online configurator only shows what is or will be available in your area. You need to select a further away zip code.

It's not the size of the bed, it's how you use it!

Also don't know how much flexing you really should be doing or we'll call in the full size guys to whine about midsize truck beds in general for you.

I went to the Costco approved dealership this week in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and they were very friendly and willing to meet my requests. I had told them the BS I went through with the other dealership and they told me that Costco requires them to be upfront with the pricing and that I wouldn't be paying MSRP. I placed an order on the TRD OR 4x4 LB in cement with the premium package and advanced tech so I will get the full pricing details once they get a VIN number on the truck. I'm crossing my fingers it all comes out right. I already had to correct him on the interior color. It was going to be Cement on the outside and leather with the orange accents. Doesn't match. I ended up going with the black leather and gunmetal accents. I'll keep you guys posted on the pricing incase anyone has a membership and would like to check them out.

The orange accents/stitching are so weird to me. The only thing that I feel they'd work with is if the outside color was also orange. Makes me wonder what the take rate is on it.

Yeah. I agree. The color would be tolerable if it came only with the black exterior and the exterior had orange accents to match. I would have preferred red accents with the cement exterior. Just my 2 cents.

Congrats! Make sure you don't post that price on the "what are you paying for 2020 Tacomas" thread. It will cause a war lol. I'm happy for you though especially since we have been hunting for the same Taco at the same time. When is the build date and arrival date?

Oh come on, a war is fun though! The ordering manager isn't in today and will be put in on Monday, I put the deposit in and looked over the order form they filled out. Didn't even have to stop in.

lol I don't want to start something. I was just seen as someone claiming things. I don't have proof until the truck actually comes in. What I also got from there is that dealers can't build specific trucks? True? Because if that is the case then we are SOL.

I had about a dozen dealers tell me they can order it, so there has to be truth in it. Plus my co-worker is getting a challenger and what he wants needs to be built as well, so he's going that route.

Glad we are all on the same boat on this one. Great color choice as well. I was told that my VIN should come in within 2 weeks after contacting the dealer yesterday. From there, I would have my build date. This is making me impatient.

I assume at this point mine is January to February time line. I'll have to think if I want to trade in my 2012 or private sell it.

That is a long time. One of the big reasons I got this was for the snow around that time frame. Test the waters on a private sale and see if you like it.

Yeah I got to pay it off first lol, that would be the nice thing trading in since it is with TFS and I plan on financing it makes an easy trade in.

Damn...I payed $35,099 OTD for a 2020 TRD OR DCSB. Even though this was a grand below sticker ($35,329 before T/Title), I still feel like I got screwed. The dealer had just got the truck in the day before and $1,000 off sticker was all he would budge. But, I did get $25,000 for my 2016 SR5 so I figured driving it for 4 years @ $2500 per year wasn't that bad. It was a private sale but the dealer let me run it through him so I would only be liable for the sales tax on the difference between the 16' and 20'. I guess I'm just old but $46,500 is a significant amount of coin to pay for a Tacoma, IMO. But, I just payed $14K for a Kubota 850 Sidekick UTV which probably wasn't a smart move on my part. Even though I bought an OR it will never see the "off road" and very rarely even a dirt or gravel road. That's what the Kubota Sidekick is for...and trust me it will go about anywhere you want it to (although they recommend you don't go into water over 3' deep). I'm not knocking the Pro's and fully packaged TRD's but they have options I would probably never use...but, as they (whoever "they" are) say..."what ever floats your boat!" However, I do enjoy reading about the range of deals TW members are getting on their 2020's.

P.S. Speaking of "doc fees"...the dealer charged me $299 which included title app and state registration. Another dealer wanted $899 for what I don't know. It cost a dealer (I think), in this state , about $40 for the title application. I guess the rest goes for the dealer's beer fund.

Since I played the game of putting dealerships against each other to get my truck , is it something I could do for truck caps? I got two different quotes for the cap I want and they are $400 difference, yikes. The cheaper one isn't open on a day I'd have off without requesting it, which I can do, no biggie, just weekend would have been better.
