Small Lift Kit

Ok guys. This is going to sound weird but this is what I am thinking I want to accomplish. Also, I have a 2019 TRD Off Road...completely stock.

I am wanting to add a suspension lift kit to add 1" - 1-1/2" to the front and 1/2" - 1" in the back....I know that's barely anything... And then put 265/75r16 tires on stock rims.

Any suggestions? Am I completely crazy for wanting such a small lift?

 

Of course i currently have bilstein 4600 and likethe way they feel. I have heard good thibgs about Fox, and Ive heard of OME but dont know anything about their quality...

 

All I plan on doing is some mild off road trailing but i mainly just want to go up a little on tire size but want to keep a decent clearance between tire and fenders.

Wanting to kind of keep the stock look but a tad more aggressive

 

Front Bilstein 5100's set at .63 setting and your done.

 

just put some 255 85 16s and call it a day

 

Mike G., would you keep factory springs? Also, would you put the 5100s in rear too so that they match?

 

This is exactly that. Just about any suspension lift will accommodate.

What’s ur budget and what are you doing with the lift?

 

Hey Taco, I have the exact same mindset as you. And same truck (2019 TRD off road)

From my basic research, I’m leaning towards the Bilstein 5100’s all around. But I’m still deciding on if or what coils up front, and which AAL for the rear.

Interested in what other setups will be suggested on here...

 

5100 all around and set at the first perch up front with stock coils.. finish beer and smile at money still in your bank account.

 

Probably want the 3rd or fourth perch not the first. 1" or 1.55"

 

If you go above the first perch, buy OME coils.. 885 or 886 or 887

 

Just get you some 3" Adjustables and you wont regret your decision. All or nothing that is my suggestion

 

I am leaving towards replacing my front and rear with 5100s and set my front to the 2nd setting (which is I think .67") and running 265/75r16.

SpeySquatch, what are you running?...and do you have any more pictures of your truck?

 

Or...bilstein 5100s 1.5" ish up front and 1" block in rear...?

 

I still want a slight rake.

 

5100 at 3th perch (1.1"), 1"block rear. Slight rake. Just right for me.

265/75/16 and toytec 1/2” top hat spacers. Brings the front up 1”. Ignore the rear. When the oem shocks shit the bed, upgrade to adjustable/rebuildable.

 

Bilstein 5100s all around, set the front on the 4th setting, add a 1/4 shim to fix the lean, and a one inch rear block, do a front diff drop and a rear carrier bearing drop. If you wanna rule out a vibration now do the ecgs y bushing and ditch the factory needle bearing. Your 265/75 will look awesome. The ride will be awesome, alignment will be fine and easy for the mechanic, use your stock coils as Bilstein designed the 5100s to be used with your factory coils. I have two 2018 4wd sports one a dclb and a dcsb. You will be happy with this setup, your truck will be even more capable of more oblisticles and will ride awesome. I like my setup. For the record the dclb is on the 4th notch and the dcsb is on the top setting and both ride the same. For some reason my pics are not loading up.
