Google em. There’s tons of ways but basically it’s a hard boiled egg but where the yolk is still runny.

Thank you. I was pleased with it. I always video my last set because I figure that will be where the flaws start to show up.

I’m attempting your workout plan Senor Cookies.... it’s a B! Haha

I’m having a difficult time with form on some of these exercises I’m not used to doing. Like OHP for example.

Here is what I can choose from for barbell: correction: there are plenty of dumbbells to use.

Interesting. Those bars will be fine for some exercises, like incline press, instead of dumbbells but you wouldn’t be able to do Arnold Press with those. YouTube some proper form pointers. I watched a lot for OHP. People tend to use their legs and arch their back too much. Big risk for injury, but if you do it correctly, big reward.

I know y’all are gonna talk shit or whatever y’all do lol but ima take a break and just lurk. Killing my progress with stress and exhaustion and my mental strength is gone. Can’t even get pumped anymore in the gym no matter how hard I try and then my stress is jacking up my diet.

y’all are badasses. Tons of dudes look at people like y’all and talk shit acting like it’s easy to do what y’all do but it’s not. Bodybuilding/fitness is a hell of a journey with the ups and downs.
Not sure if I’m gonna just take a week off from the gym and focus on getting my diet back in track(no bullshit or excuses). Or if I’m just gonna go a couple days this week or what. But that scale went from 176-178 to 181-183 real quick and I gotta do something.

also genuinely curious if I have a medical thing that makes me gain weight and have low energy. Cause even though I cheat my diet, I still know what I eat and there’s no way I should gain the way I do.

but anyways. I’ll be waiting for the smart remarks but if anyone has any genuine stories of when they were backtracking or wanted to quit or whatever... I’d love to hear em for motivation.

Best advice you're gonna hear right now:

    QUIT FOCUSING ON THE SCALE!

That's nothing in terms of weight gain. I fluctuate 10-12lbs just in water alone. Throw out your scale and focus on feeling good. Don't worry about your weight so much. Living life based off what that scale says is the best way to lose motivation.

The scale is what I use(d) to keep myself focused.
Weighing every day was my way of making sure I never got out of control basically. Been doing it since I started and it never was a negative thing to me

I’m being a pussy. I’ll admit it. But between work. And low sleep. And gym. And trying to diet right.

I’m just exhausted and losing motivation. Used to burn 500-600 calories in a workout and lately I’ve been struggling to burn 300.

Here is what you gained - water.

Things that make you hold water
    -not enough water
    -stress
    -not enough sleep
    -too many carbs
    -too much salt
    -not enough activity/sweat
    -tacomaworld
    -???
    -not pooping

Don't beat yourself up bro. Ain't nobody perfect.

That's what happens when you focus only on the scale. It gives you ups when you see your weight drop, and downs when your weight rise. As the downs outnumber the ups you lose motivation.

Take a break and reevaluate your goals. Maybe start focusing on more cardio only.

I actually thought about the first one today. The weather has went from 90-100 to 40-50 the past couple weeks and my water intake has dropped ALOT.

was never the kind to buy a gallon water jug and carry it with me all day but with it being cold, it’s harder to remember to drink water so that probably is playing a big role

and definitely high stress and low sleep as well.

I poop once a day on average.

just sucks cause it takes forever to make progress but so easy to lose it lol.

I used to run 5-6 miles every other day and I don’t really know why but that stopped. And used to go mountain biking for 20+ miles on the weekends but lately I’ve been working 7 days a week so that got cut out too.

You’re right on the re-evaluating for sure. I don’t wanna just give up and I won’t but definitely not feeling the fitness lifestyle lately lol.

I wasn’t gonna post in here about this cause I look like a bitch but there’s no way you all have just been up up up for years and years into this. Y’all have to have good and bad days like everyone so was hoping that maybe there was some motivation to be found in this.

I weigh myself usually 1x a week. You didn't throw away progress that easy, trust me. I don't know anyone harder on themselves than me. I've literally went through 20 different phases in 5 minutes looking at the mirror. I've lost it, several times... It fucks with you... but, you can't let it.

Need to be stronger than that. Just keep putting in the work and results will come. Look back on your own photos - that shit didn't happen over night - it took time. Just like losing progress takes time.

That’s the kinda shit I needed to hear.

Also wife being deployed still means I don’t really have anyone to talk to about this shit so that’s why I’m in here so much lol

It's ok to take a break though. Don't feel like a bitch or whatever. It happens. My fiance competed and took 1st 5 different ways. She competed again few months later and took 5th but throughout the state championship. She did great, but she was hard on herself and she took many breaks. it is what it is, I support her no matter what.

I support you no matter what too. Gotta do what you gotta do - that is also why we are here.

@weldertaco hush your mouth. Go back at look at the pic you post all the time of you before you got into fitness. Then look at the pic you posted today. You're progressing for sure.

Identify what’s holding you back and fix it. Seems like you already know (stress and sleep). You got this.

Take a break. Do things you like. You’ll miss it. Then come back to the grind.

I just ate a steak. And drank a beersssss. Don’t give two shits about fitness or strength at the moment. But I’ll be back tomorrow.

Get yourself right. Have some fun. Don’t take this so seriously. You got this dude.
