I shoot lefty, ambi parts kit is more than enough. The brass misses your face even in a pistol configuration. I built mine on the coffee table while watching a movie. Used some high end parts and came in just under $1200.

Same. My pistol build was about $1200 and I used a lot of Gucci parts. My 16" build was about $900 with a Gucci trigger avec my 6.5 Grendel build was about $750 with a Gucci upper receiver (all minus optics)

 

Same here, nbx bolt carrier group, 1/8 cold hammer forged stainless 18” bull barrel and a fancy trigger. It’s a tack driver at 250 yards, probably pretty good at 400 but haven’t had any opportunity to get the distance.

 

My pistol has the Seekins Enhanced LPK, Larue MBT and A-peg grip, FN cold-hammer forged barrel and Palmetto State Armory Premium BCG and upper receiver group and the SB Tactical SB-PDW brace with Magpul MBUS Pro sights.

Edit to add: I moved my Holosun to my HD ar15, but i want to put my 1-4x24 Burris MTAC back on, but the cross-bolt on the Holosun super tightened itself and I've broken two torx bits trying to remove it.

 

I just wanna build something light, short and with iron sights. Maybe a laser.

Proud husband moment here.... wife shot for the first time in her life today at HF. 300 AAC at 100 yds and she grouped just under a 3 inch spread. Damn natural

and that is how you burn through a shit ton of ammo.. teach the wife to shoot and get her hooked.

when I got married and started moving the ammo stash in, she was like you have more than enough for a lifetime. less 10k combine of 5.56 and 9mm and some 7.62x39 in the mix.

years later she learned to shot and enjoyed it.. to the tune of shooting nearly 5k of my 9mm in a short period of time. once she realized how much we went through, she started to understand that buying by the pallet would be a wise move. Something at the time I had the spare cash to buy and the source for it. then a few major shootings happen, and everything got stupid high and hard to find

 

actually recently looked it up on gunbroker and found out that they discontinued it. I guess it resembled the M4 just a bit too much (literally says M4 in the lower) hence why I bought it in the first place lol. So the value has significantly gone up.

 

and yeah dude that things sweet. Would be hella cool in a car too

 

Just wait till you start crushing 4s and you get 35s to start crushing 5s lol. I completed one level 5 when I was on 33s and armor. One week later I ordered my 35s lol and here I am.

They closed the line because they lost the M4A1 contract to FN and their profits are big time down. Colt closed down the custom shop last year, too. They've been closing operations and laying people off for a while.
