    More than I can afford
Not all today but over the last few weeks.

My skidplate came back from blasting with a large crack in it. Not sure if they dropped it or that had been lurking under the powdercoat, rust and gunk.
So Drilled out the end of the crack, ground a relief along both sides and weldered it back together.
Wiped it down with IPA (alcohol, not the tasty ale), shot some Rustoleum bedliner on it (horrible product to apply, results look good tho) and put it back on the truck.

    Then everybody got a bath.

    IMG_2708.jpg

Mounted my Hi-Lift, Maxx (axe/shovel/hoe), got all my recovery gear and 3 day bag situated.
    IMG_2789.jpg

And a little preview of the next thing for the bed. Be done if Amazon had bothered to package the light channel correctly, it showed up folded in half.

    IMG_2790.jpg

Last but not least, a VERY cheap pickup from Facebook marketplace. Yes it is beat up, yes it works and it cost me about 10% of the cost of a new one. Figuring out how to fab up a mount for it because no way am I paying $250 for a slide.

Usually around 310-320ish with the discount and free shipping. It's a lot of cabbage, but they are one of the best batteries around.

Recently did front pads and rotors. Got a Jones to do the rear brakes. Drum brakes are a PITA. Glad they're done, and they last a long time.

Is the last picture reversed? The hose clamp wont do anything in that position, it needs to be on the passenger side hinge.

not reversed, bought the truck with them already installed. Since then I’ve put a locking tailgate/camera combo so they’re kind of pointless anyway

Very easy and I’d never done any soldering. There are a couple of threads on here and YouTube videos that I looked up. Took all of about 10 minutes including taking overhead down, soldering new resistors on, and reinstalling. I got these from Amazon. Only about $6 and they give you 100.

Tuesday I'll be trying out the 2stroke clones for the fogs.
Gotta wait till dark to adjust them.
