    If your truck is locked, and you unlock it manually from the inside the alarm goes off... i'm curious how it didn't...

    My installer was quite surprised to find out mine didn’t come with a factory alarm. I added it when I installed the command start. Was only a few bucks extra for added piece of mind. The fob even tells you which door/window was tried.

    Some of the base model trucks I think still don’t have it as a standard option. However your Pro does. Some something isn’t right or they used a skimmer to gain entry

    I usually lock my truck but sometimes i forget
    had stuff robbed out of it at 4 in the afternoon in my driveway
    My neighborhood goes through streaks of house break ins, packages pirated and car theft
    I now have an house alarm and cams
    Best thing I did for my Taco was get a console vault
    Caught a guy on my cam going in my truck but saw him try the console (locked) then leave
    Its great for when I forget to lock truck or do stuff like surf - I can lock up keys,wallet, phone and not worry

    highly recommend getting one
    bought one on here used

    I remember during the great housing bust the local jail in Nor Cal was a revolving door with some people getting arrested multiple times in a week. They wouldn't keep em in jail unless it was a violent crime

    Yeah, nice clean vehicles attract everyone, double edge sward maybe. I've been leaving mine dirty, but it's almost 4 yrs old ('16) model.

    I do park by the light post and within camera range if available. I don't leave any valuables I have a workout money belt and my wallet and keys are with me, I can even hang it by the shower glass.
    I do lock my vehicles, I'd hate to loose a mod (shifter knob, cam cameras and such).

    Alarms maybe useless, ppl are so used to them going off, they don't even look and the perps would be long gone before anyone came over.

    I agree. I'm gonna need a bigger GUN!

    The same reason retailers leave the empty cash register drawers open when they close the store. So thieves don’t bust into the empty register.
