I'm not a Tacoma owner, but I'm trying to help a family member sell theirs. I did a lot of looking, and it seems the prices are all over the place. Obviously I know that they keep their value better than most vehicles, but I'm also looking to price it slightly below the norm so that it will actually sell easily. Someone will likely get a good deal in the process. What is the range something like this would sell for?

2008 TRD Sport Access Cab 4x4 V6 Manual Trans
    Only 90k miles
It's not in "perfect" garage-kept condition visually, because it was used by someone who did light wheeling. With that said, the undercarriage looks quite good and the paint doesn't have that many scratches as one would expect. The suspension is tight and feels like a brand new vehicle to me. One thing I want to ask is about a faint "chattering" when in neutral and off the clutch, I searched and saw people say it was quite common, and it sounds like throwout bearing to me. The clutch is very good in it so does the bearing just wear fast in these trucks? I bought a new battery but the tie-down doesn't fit, it's the "right" battery but it's too tall for the tie-down. The tire warning light is the only other thing "wrong" and it just never went away after the tire going flat and being pumped back up. I appreciate the help.

edit... one thing I forgot to mention is that it has I think 2 cracks in the windshield. I will reflect that in the price though to make up for it.

Is there anyway I can look up the spec sheet for all the options it was ordered with like on a Jeep? or does the TRD Sport package not really have much left to add to it?

If you know anyone looking send me a message. I have to clean it up outside and inside, then I'll likely post it up on here anyways. It will be sold on the lower end of the price range so it will be a steal for someone.

Tire pressure reset button under the steering wheel on panel - press and hold 3 sec then after driving it should reset the dash light could take 50 miles.

on the price... mainly because the tires have seen their better days and the truck was quite dirty inside and out. the outside has already cleaned up nicely, gonna see what I can do on the inside.

Use this site, plug in the info and get a pretty accurate value based on your zip code. There could be $3000+ difference in value between NC and Michigan or California. You can get private party value, trade value, or what a dealer would ask for it.

Ok thanks. I think I didn't hold it down long enough or drive it far enough after.

Please post pics, a 4x4 trd in any condition will likely sell within a week if the price is good. 90k is super low miles as well. Good luck with sale brother

    FYI additional info:
Truck should be running and after depressing reset the dash light should blink 3 times then and go off or stay on solid till driving.
If it blinks on starting and not touching the reset the TPMS sensors are battery powered and one may be dead (cannot change battery in it requires new TPMS and dealer load into ECU).

It should work, when I originally did it I didn't have the truck running, just accessories on, and I didn't see any blinking.

Be sure to check the air in the spare. There's a TPMS sensor in the spare.

Look for this to see if it has the factory tow package. That's an extra selling point if it does.

'07-'08 are great years for access cabs due to having the fold forward rear seats and no head gasket problems.

It does have the tow package, I saw that on the VIN lookup. Not to mention it still has the factory receiver cover with the Toyota logo.
