    Does anyone know if 19770 was 91 only or if there's an 87 version? I've got the 91 version but the tip in is just too wild. 04A61

    As I stated in my earlier posts, I've done both of those things. Per the feedback that I received from Orange Virus in response to my ZenDesk ticket, this skipping of 4th gear is the intended behavior.

    And again, I don't have shifting issues when I'm stock, so I've got no reason to believe there's a fluid issue. They told me that this is how the tune is supposed to act, so to say that it's a fluid problem is not logical.

    I may be missing something, but I’m almost positive that clearing DTC’s doesn’t change the way your truck drives unless you’re coming out of limp mode. DTC stands for Diagnostic Trouble Code. Now Learned Values in the other hand, when cleared, changes a lot. This puts your truck on a clean slate.

    It was 91 octane only. But 19800 is the tamer version of 19770, with ONLY changes to the tip-in according to Mat.

    Have you spent much time in Texas? That’s like saying California is mostly flat.. both are vary large states with vary diverse terrain throughout.

    I’m on 33’s with not much weight and I don’t think 5.29 is overgeared. I love mine, wouldn’t go back to 3.91 and wouldn’t change to 4.88 if someone gave me $1k to do so. Some love 4.88 also, we can all get along, not sure why it’s necessary to call someone else’s investment a waste just because you wouldn’t do it. Who cares though, this is the tune thread.

    No, I did not take it as a diss lol. It just seems like a broad generalization. Anything above 7% is out of standard for interstates in the US. You won’t find 85mph zones with heavy grade in Texas, and you won’t anywhere else either. There are no doubt 75mph zones with 5% grade. My point being there are plenty of hills to be found all over the place. Unless you live in Kansas..

    Yes, I do an LV and AT reset every time that I change the tune, then idle for ~5 mins before taking off.

    I ran the newest 87 octane 2.0 build for 4.88’s today and I believe you are correct. The shifting would go to 4th much more often then usual (even on slight inclines) with the other versions and the gas pedal did feel a bit weak. Flashed to PCM 0944 for 4.88’s after I got home from my drive through the mountains. Will compare and contrast. Still like the 11600 (aggressive tip-in) tune the best so far

    How do I make sure which software version is on my handheld? and if it is 1.05 where do I download 2.0 for the handheld? It seems like the 2.0 public page is only for flash programming with a laptop.

    Anybody done this? Is it a good idea?
    @OVTune any thoughts on this?
