Nah, I never made art cards for them.

The v1 and v2 were both runs of 100. v2 is still in stock.
The difference is the merrowing on the edge of v1 was white (and kinda shitty, IMO) and is all black on v2.

Hey i just tried to do a project for my daughter’s birth and my first patch. I tried kit fox design group and got screwed big time. It was a mess. I do NOT recommend them. However afterward i found owl and anchor company and they were outstanding!! They took my daughter’s ink print from her birth and replicated it into exactly what i wanted. They included the actual shape, size, and details of her foot. They are excellent! Check them out!

You can use the adhesive backed hook Velcro but if you plan on having them on your headliner beware that in the hot summer, the adhesive will melt. Not saying it will always happen but its possible the patch and Velcro can separate. I put super glue on too especially since I live in AZ. Inside cab temps can get up to 140°!

The super-glue is a thoughtful tip; I'll start doing that, too.

I've only had patches on my roof-liner through this most recent Alabama summer. They held up alright this go'round :fingerscrossed: .... but superglue sounds much preferred over opening my door to find a sticky-backed patch boiling in to my car seat

Yeah that makes sense with the super glue. Maybe i’ll try that. I have seen some awesome patches before that are friggin iron on! Call me an idiot, but my initial thought was if they can iron on to clothes why not to velcro right? Of course you cannot accomplish it the same way due to melting. So I was going to get a non-important patch and flip it face down. Heat up the iron, then get it close to the back until i think it’s hot enough then put a sheet of velcro over it and press it down for a while with a hardback book and see if that makes a difference in the permanence of the velcro sticking to the back. Worth a shot i guess if you want it bad enough.

Yeah, you can't iron a patch to Velcro very easily. What the iron on material actually is is an adhesive that "reflows" when it gets over a certain temp.

Irons get pretty hot and the problem with using one to attach to Velcro is its likely to melt the tiny hools that are made of plastic.

You might get lucky but you may not and the hooks won't be able to "grab" the loop anymore.

Just a word of caution with superglue:
If you try to glue with the runny glue to a patch that doesn't have the iron on backing, it can soak through to the front fabric/fibers and leave a white residue that kinda sucks. I found out the hard way on a couple sew on patches. Also watch out the glue doesn't spread and get past the edge and soak into the merrowing or edges of the patch where there's no iron on material.

I just have my neighbor sew the velcro on. With the iron-on’s she sometimes sews the velcro to scrap fabric then irons the patch to the scrap fabric if that makes sense.
