What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I like chrome but it mostly depends on what colour of vehicle it is on.

This is a common mod to do on street bikes. I had a 08 gsxr600 and it greatly improved throttle response. Never had a problem the 3 years I owned the bike. And never thought to do it on anything other than a street bike. May have to look into it

Should also be noted that simply unplugging the valve wont be enough. There is still an obstruction for air flow. The entire valve should be removed. Was my understanding that the valve is only there to reduce exhaust noise. And in turn decreases performance. These trucks could be different as my experience is from 10 years ago owning a bike.

How do you remove the vents and shifter surround? I need to do this....

 

I cut the vent pieces off. They were welded in... to put back I plastic welded it. The surround on center console I wrapped with vinyl.

 

Have not had a lot of time for posting photos lately but within the last month had my truck ceramic coated at local shop
