I have only seen it mentioned in this thread and the Softtopper WTB thread. I didn't dig much deeper until I talked with the SO. I got a weaksauce thumbs up.

As there is no organization, I just sent a message to Softtopper using the contact info on their site. We'll see what comes back.

    Will do!

I'm now officially excited for some winter camping. That is a heartbreak guarantee.

Yeah I just got back from some 30* desert camping. Damn wind. Sleeping in a covered bed would have been much nicer.

Oof. For me, I always hit rain and have to hear the fam complain because the tent is airing out in the living room.

    Telling you!

Cold dry wind is its own issue though.

Last year I set up a one man tent in 8* snowy weather. Had to put the beers near the fire so they wouldn't freeze haha. Had to retreat to the truck after my zipper blew out on the sleeping bag.

    Oh man. That's hard core.

For the eclipse we were at a sweet spot up in the hills motocamping. It was the first time that I saw the Milky Way since HS. So, I left the fly off to enjoy it most of the night. We'll fuck. We woke up to frost on the bikes. Next night was fly on for sure.

Thankfully, in the frog stranglers that I have been in, the tents have stayed dry. Can't say the same for some friends, but the hot coffee in the mornings cured most of that.

Id like for toyota to do another 40% off trd sale. Have they even done a sale since then? They must be recovering from it.

I received a message back from Softtopper. They asked that we submit orders and then toss them an email back from the order saying that we are part of the GB. Once we hit the 10 order threshold, they will process the refund.

Please post up in the GB thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/softtopper-gb.635923/

I will keep the list updated and cross post this in the WTB thread also.

It is basically a shipping refund ($45.95 off), which was enough for me. Our OTD for the basic setup will be $749.00. Of course, I'm spreading that over 6mo with PayPal Credit. :D
