@cwisema , Did you end up doing the Crystal Lake Trail? I just saw a video on FB with a stock looking Tacoma Sport at the very end. If so how was it?

Yep, that was me at the end of the video. Crystal Lake trail was good, I of course took the bypass for that really deep water hole. The trail was titer then I expected so I have some work to do with the rubbing compound. I also took a couple hits to my skid plate so I'll need to drop it and do a little hammering on it.

We lost some time with the first jeep recovery and taking a wrong turn on the trail, so we didn't get to do any other trails (we planned on Salmon Burn, and part of Gooderham). The sun sets so early these days.

I was up on 3 wheels, crawled over some rocks others didn't think I'd get over, and went through water deeper then I've ever gone through before, all with some great people. That makes for a good day. Definitely worth the drive from Acton.

I wasn't sure anyone would remember the old "Old Hide House" commercials, and catch that line.

Just picked up a 5000 pound axle and wheels and tires. Going to start a off road trailer build for a trip to tuktoytuk. Guess I better start perusing YouTube for ideas on the build
