Well it's not with the seat all the way back but I'll never be driving with the seat all the way back so it should be good.

I thought On the 02 to 04 the install directions for the jl box says the cup holders need to be removed maybe i read it wrong.

Yeah you should be fine I put my seat all the way back when I built the frame and there was about 1" of space between the seat and the sub mounting ring.

I don't think sizing is going to be an issue with the 60/40 seat trucks you guys have more room then it do.

I wrapped it last night I'll post a photo tonight.

Okay here it is in the first stage of fiberglassing there is no fiberglass on it now because I had a wedding to shoot today so I was gone all day. I will be pulling out all the bracing tomorrow and i might glass it if I have the time.

    _DSC8390_804241919600f562090c5ddbd26d1dc64e03a452.jpg

I didn't put it in my truck because it was still tacky but at least you get the idea of the shape.

Yeah i know but the whole point of the box is to keep both rear seats functional. I could build a custom fiberglass box with 2 12's but it would take up the whole back.

Well you will get to see how it looks next week I just glassed it and tomorrow I'm going to bondo the hell out of it and start sanding. Hopefully it's ready for Vinyl by Monday.

2RZ-FE Turbo Intercooled, standalone........... Exactly 150% more power to the wheels than stock at the wheels. Supra transmission, 4 linked rear, QA1 coilovers all around, S-Runner rear sway bar, Corbeau bucket seats, forged 5 spoke 17x9 wheels, Wilwood 12.19" 4 piston brakes, Ford 9" rear end (early bronco) 31 spline, full floater, big bearing, 3.50 gears, trac-lock. fully functioning air conditioning and cruise control....
I'm interested in one of these so I can get both my jumper seats back in my 02 and still keep my sub..

Will there be a carpeted option possibly?

So far I can't really see too much of a resemblance between this and the JL snail box, but I know it's not finished.

    Thanks

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

I can wrap it in carpet if you really want it. And it's not going to look just like the JL box just the same style down firing.

I'd be willing to downgrade to a 10" sub if it can be made to resemble the clean look of the JL setup..
