Thanks bro. I told myself, if it still fits in my 6'11" garage i'll be satisfied and it barely made it in without a scratch Lol. Overall when i drove my truck around after lifting (alignment to follow this weekend), took it over some bumps and some speed differences (35mph - 45-50mph) the truck felt smooth. The shocks I'm running are Bilsteins 5100 fronts and 5165 rears with reservoirs (w/ blocks and AAL that came with the kit).

I didn’t realize how crappy my truck rode at 2.5” lift in the front until I went 6” with the rcd extended 5100s and 620 coils (although coulda been tires a bit too). The near-stock front end geometry angles help a lot with the ride.

By the way 2 things happened to me after traveling to your state... couldn’t live without a 6” lift on my truck and became obsessed with scuba diving. 2 expensive things that were absolutely worth it IMO

Just curious if anyone has the 6" procomp coilover and if so how do you like it? I'm ready to replace my strut tower spacer lift but not that ready for icons or other brands. Thanks guys

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.

I went with SPC. With the ability to adjust caster & camber, $55 drop in replacement greaseable ball joints and a lower price point then most others out there, you can't go wrong.
I've ran several different brands and setups of leafs but to get the most out of the rear end, I think.its near impossible to beat a 63 Chevy spring swap.

I went ahead and ordered a custom kit from Deaver. The guy said he would get me as close as possible to the height I was looking for. I ordered about 5 weeks ago and they took a deposit.

..... I decided to sell 2016 OffRoad tho, I put a deposit down on a 2020 Cement OffRoad fully loaded. I should get the truck in late November when my 24*12" rims get delivered

Gonna ruin a perfectly good Tacoma with 7 miles on it.
I'm going to take the 2020 parts and put them on my 2016 and sell it.

Ok guys I'm trying to figure out what coil springs to run with the 5" 5100's I was it close to a true 6" if not 6.5" I saw someone post that with stock springs you get about 4.5" with the shocks alone. I looked at the toytec 3" springs. Anyone run this set up? Any info on what springs you guys run on your bilstein would be greatly appreciated thanks

It seems most including myself run the RCD Shocks with Eibach/Toytec 620 Coils which give you 1.6" of lift in addition to the lift provided by the RCD 5100s giving you just over 6" of lift (the measured pretty close to spot on 6" on my DCLB about 1/4" higher). The only variable would be armor and things like that you may need an increased spring rate. Some guys have done more lift using different coils. Check out Warputer's truck and a few others in this thread maybe they can answer some questions for you.

So, I have a question for all you DB doods. Stepson has an '07 with a FabTech 6" lift on it and its 4WD. Hasn't engaged since he's owned it and can't get the front ADD out to troubleshoot because of the big honking bracket in the way. I am a pretty capable mechanic but am wondering how difficult a job it would be to remove the bracket to diagnose the actuator. I have plenty of experience with these vehicles but none when it comes to these lifts. Hell, I don't even know if its possible without messing something up or getting in over my head...
How difficult a job you guys think this would be for a shade tree mechanic?

I have the 6" FabTech lift on my '14 and I removed damn near everything at one point or time to include the front clamshell.

I need shock and coil spring recommendations on my 2007 tacoma sport 4x4 it has a 6in Fabtech DB lift kit with the 6in spacer. I have a ARB bumper up front and NO winch and don’t plan on getting one. The only extra weight that would affect the front is the ARB bumper and sliders in the future. I can’t afford full length coil overs so that’s out of the question so what would you guys recommend for essentially stock height coils and springs to go with my 6in spacer up front and something that can support the bit of extra weight up front. I’m sagging quite a bit.
