Of all the auto enthusiast groups I’ve been a part of, Tacoma owners are the worst and this thread is a prime example.

You really sitting around on a Sunday with nothing better to do than piss and moan about things that strangers say they like on the internet?? Literally people you don’t know say “I like my manual transmission” and that gets your panties twisted enough to make a topic about it??

Do you realize bitching about something that someone else likes and advocates for is just as bad as what you’re complaining about...? You understand that you come off jealous and insecure that you can’t drive a manual, right?

You can totally tell when a person is insecure about it, versus the person who drove a manual in traffic for years and is just DONE with it. If it’s not fun to row gears, than yeah. It’s not for you. But some people are touchy. I even read a post inferring that some manual owners wish they had gotten an auto. Yeah like once.

I get it... the thrill of jamming that shifter from “P” to “D” (I know the auto Bro’s are always looking for the “D”) can get a little too exciting and, well, shit happens - even in moms panties.

I drove an automatic today AND didn't slam on the brakes with my left foot. It was a good day.

 

I think you can tell... most people who are over it say introspective things like “I drove a manual for years and if I didn’t have to drive in traffic, I’d love it but auto is best for me and my situation”
