If its stock height, you measure from ground to the embossed clear circle/dot on your headlight lens which should be roughly 39.75" . Then when you aim, you mark the wall at 39.75 and from 25FT away you should dead on the 39.75"

For the dim DRL all the time fix, we're still trying to find the direct solution for it. It's a related wiring issue but once I have instructions on how to fix it I will post it.

Some shipped last week and weekly. Though every time there's a new issue like this one it's a slight delay. I want to make sure no one have problems with their lights and all issues are fixed.

    I need a vaca :annoyed:

Sad part is you were on the first batch. If UPS would do their job correctly instead of making problems worst. :angrygirl:

Me too @Fern19 . My Morimoto Day Running Lights go on randomly. I have a 2018 SR5 with the Morimoto XB Headlights and fog lights. I also followed the SR5 fuse tap guide to activate the DRLs.

My dashcam, in parking mode, captured that the DRLs will randomly come on when the truck is off and locked. I also verified that the stalk was set to “Off.” According to my dashcam, the DRLs will turn on in intervals of 2 hours or 3 hours and at times randomly. They stay on for approximately one minute. A coworker also informed me that my DRLs were on at 11 a.m. this morning. Sorry, I do not have time to watch the truck all day or night and provide a complete report.

Any suggestions from @eledobleu and/or @TRSAndrew would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance!

So not only there's a drl dim all the time issue but there's also the random activation of DRLS when the truck is off. Oh lucky me :annoyed:

    Who else have this issue?

If the fuse tap is in the igni fuse, I don't understand how it will turn on when the truck is off since the ignition needs to be on to provide power. OK guys let's get these issues resolved. :pccoffee:

    Thinking out loud..
since the SR5 have to tap into the fuse box(DRL power) it can only be coming on from that circuit. Maybe that fuse tap location is powering on for some other function of the truck(Kinda like how you can hear the fuel pump thing come on at random times when the truck is off) I would switch the ignition fuse tap and keep an eye out on the random DRL issue

They have us tapping into the EFI relay circuit i believe.

Dont think its a big deal that they turn on randomly, but maybe it is? idk lol

I was told it tapped directly into the ignition fuse. I'm assuming the EFI relay could be the culprit

Yeah.. def switch circuits. I bet the truck is randomly kicking on that circuit (no clue why, but these computers do crazy stuff now a days)

Well the instructions from TRS specifically say to tap into that one.
