I’ve seen 4 cars with owls on them at UTSW. Is this a thing now?

It's supposed to keep the smaller birds away, thus keeping bird crap off your car.

I figured something like that, but it didn’t register with me in a parking garage

 

my work building keeps them outside on ledges to prevent birds from flying into windows

 

A few of our local grocery stores use what basically amounts to a disco ball that rotates in the wind and a speaker that plays a predator call on loop. We have one part of town that's over run with crows. It's like the movie Birds around here... Little buggers are nasty. They flock (waka waka) to that area because of all the lights, which have attracted all the bugs. It's the circle of life as effected by us bipods.

 

perhaps there is a football game in town with owl mascot?

Wonder if it would do anything for rodents? Seems like rodents chewing on automotive wiring has been increasing in the past few years.

Gorilla lugs any good?

 

yes, better than the camburg one’s I bought at first. Held up well so far.

 

Only when applied with gorilla glue.

 

Anybody recommend a good paint correction provider? Have some imperfections I’d like to have fixed.

oh its always an option in the back of my mind! Do i spend $5k on long travel or do i invest that $5k into a SAS??
