There was a guy in Tahoe hording Justy's. He broke down and sold one last year on Craigslist, listed for a day or so then sold.

 

My 06 has the updated version of the engine. 800k on this thing, never opened. Only burns about. A quart every 5k. My OCI is 20k on it.

In mid 2000s, prolly 2004 or 5, my little sister gets a MINT Justy while Sr in high school or something, I think it was early 90s Justy. I'm oldest sibling so long gone and out of house by then, so this is told to me, anyways pops finds her a mint one and couple months later she totals it

Have you sent a sample of oil from one of your oil changes to be analyzed??? I would LOVE to see the numbers. Hell, send me a sample from an oil change and I'll personally go run it at my friend's lab and give you all the info and rundown free

 

High school kids and cars...... Never let your high school kid drive a vehicle you actually care about. Lol

I totaled my first car at 16
My lil brother didn't total his but wrecked his Civic a couple times in high school
Other lil brother wrecked once and could've been a total but they repaired and he kept driving it, 88 Corolla if I memba right
And lil sis and the Justy

 

I must be lucky cause no one in my family ever wrecked a car and we all started driving at 15 or so.

 

I've been in 8 accidents in 35years of driving. Only 2 were my fault. People seem to want to run into me.

My brother used a neon for dirt track racing. He did pretty well with it lol.

 

Yeah when the brushes go kaput in the alternators most people just change the whole thing out, not knowing their 'new' one is usually lesser quality unit. If people had that info or knew that, I'd bet we see a lot more people just replacing the brushes. Much cheaper and you keep the high quality unit.
