This, powder coat can be to thick which would give you bad torque numbers on the ball joints, if you want a good hard cure, you could paint them then put them in the oven at about 300-350 for about 4 hrs...

Surface rust I’d use a permanent marker on it new ball joints and bushings and slap’em on.

Sup TTC?! Anyone interested in a rear chrome bumper or trailer hitch for a 2nd Gen? Offering up to TTC fam first.

 

When? Not in my booked calendar but I'll consider it at least!

 

How did the install go?

 

Fairly simple, the old bumper was a little difficult trying to pull the hitch and bumper at the same time because of a groove that the hitch sits in it requires some careful fanagling. But ended up taking them off separately and it was much easier. Thought I almost threw my back out putting the new one on too Had to get Pam help me hold it up while putting a bolt in on each side, then it was easy as cake tightening it up
